The 35-3010RK series is a compact sample draw detector assembly with a built-in pump that accepts a 24VDC input. This unit features a NEMA 4X enclosure making it dust, water and corrosion resistant. It also features a flowmeter with adjustable flow and a low flow alarm which warns of any obstructions or restrictions in the flow system. Combustibles, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide versions are available in many different combinations. Combustibles and oxygen versions can be suplied with or without a 4-20 mA transmitter. The 35-3010RK series can also be configured with RKI's super toxic sensors offering a wide range of detectable toxic gases.

The 35-3010RK is capable of single person calibrations and can be installed up to 500 ft. from a controller, and can interface to any RKI or third party control system (utilizing a 4-20 mA feedback signal). This is a very cost effective way of monitoring for several gases that may be in the same place, and for applications where the sensors cannot be located directly in the area to be monitored. The pump is capable of drawing a sample up to 50' from the sample point.

The RAM 4021 AutoCal® series is the unit of choice where specific and accurate measurement of carbon monoxide, oxygen or dew-point levels are required. Designed to meet OSHA requirements for monitoring of Grade D respirable air, this unit is equipped with a reliable electrochemical sensor that accurately indicates the level of carbon monoxide on an illuminated liquid crystal display. Respiratory air specifications

All GfG Instrumentation RAM Instruments satisfy the requirements of OSHA rule 29 CFR 1910.134 (d) (2) (ii) for carbon monoxide monitoring. They will also monitor Grade E air, generally specified for breathing air in cylinders (SCBA).

Wall mounted filter panel option

The 25, 50 and 100 CFM panels filter out dangerous toxins from supplied air sources and ensure clean, breathable air. The threestage filter system efficiently removes particulates, oil vapors and hydrocarbons from an air supply. After filtration, the regulator sets the pressure for the respiratory equipment and the manifold assembly provides multiple outlets for airline hose quick connections. The model 8025 panel includes two user female quick connect outlets; the 8050 includes four, and the 8100 includes eight. A 1/2" FPT connection is standard on all 50 and 100 CFM panels, and a 3/8" FPT connection is standard on all 25 CFM panels.

Tailor-made gas monitoring

Small and lightweight: The X-am 5800 is comfortable to wear and easy to use even with gloves on thanks to its large buttons. The display clearly shows important information such as gas readings, alarms and time. The green D-light indicates that the unit is ready for use. All this, plus the completely language-free icon based user interface, makes it pleasantly simple to use and familiarise yourself with. Powerful sensors

The new CatEx sensor offers you even more advantages: readiness for calibration within seconds, extreme robustness against shocks and the measurement of flammable vapours – such as petrol, diesel and nonane. You can also set the measurement gas to methane, propane, hydrogen, and many other gases. The performance is complemented by Drager's simple cross calibration concept, in which the measurement gas, calibration gas and bump test gas can be specified individually. Upon testing, the X-am 5800 then takes over the necessary conversions. The sensor is target to meet the demanding requirements of the new IEC standard 60079-29-1 (International Electrotechnical Commission).

At the same time, the CatEx sensor is resistant to poisoning substances such as silicones and other harmful substances. This combination of properties is exceptional. With years of experience in sensor technology, Drager develops and produces the sensors itself, including the powerful and durable electrochemical sensors in the XXS format. Your advantage: sensors and device are perfectly matched to each other – saving you operating costs. We are currently developing a durable, power-saving infrared sensor to measure flammable gases and vapours and/or carbon dioxide, as well as a photo-ionisation detector sensor for measuring volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These can be used instead of the CatEx sensor.

Focus on sustainability

During the development of the X-am 5800, great importance was given to sustainability. The optimised Drager Sensors and the rechargeable power supply, which can be easily replaced with one screw, ensure it has a long service life. Almost all spare parts can be replaced by trained users, while all remaining parts can be repaired by Drager Service. Furthermore, existing accessories from the previous series can still be used. Environmental protection has also been taken into account in the technical documentation and packaging: Designed to save paper, when you order two or more units, we can reduce the number of instruction manuals supplied if you order the modular version. The best solution for CO2 monitoring fromthe specialists in gas detection. The GMA 313 indicates a gas hazard immediately and reliably. The built-in alarm LED and loud horn provide a warning before entering the room. The external alarm GMA 313 EQ also gives a warning wherever you want it, e.g. at the stairway or at the bar. The GMA 313 offers state-of-the-art sensor and microprocessor technology from a compact unit.

The sensor and electronics, horn and lights are integrated in one enclosure, thus saving installation costs. Low Maintenance and Long Lifetime

The infrared (NDIR) sensor has a considerably longer lifetime than an electrochemical CO2 sensor. The GMA 313 is low maintenance, robust, and reliable. Installation of the GMA 313 is very simple, just plug it into a standard 110 v ac wall outlet.

Infrared Principle

Carbon dioxide (CO2) absorbs light in the infrared range of the spectral. The NDIR technology of GfG's sensor detects the carbon dioxide concentration precisely and reliably. The infrared light emitted by a lamp passes through the gas sample. Carbon Dioxide absorbs the light in a narrow spectral range.

The remaining light is measured at the detector. The difference between emitted and detected light is proportional to the gas concentration. Water vapor and other gases, which may be presenting the sensor chamber, do not affect the light absorption in this spectral range.

Safe detection results, even with temperature changes. Precise optical measurement ensures the best accuracy and repeatability. The IR principle is as distinct as a fingerprint in criminology.

This means that only carbon dioxide is detected, thus eliminating false alarms from interfering gases. GfG Products use electronics with voltage stabilization and temperature compensation.

This results in stable measurement vales even with considerable temperature variations.

The GMA 313 has no moving parts which could be subject to wear and tear. This ensures a long lifetime and reduced service requirements. Permanent self-check of functional capability provides additional safety. Sensor and electronics are protected by a robust enclosure (IP 54).
