The unit is cased in a durable hard outer casing to protect the internal circuitry. The unit is operable in a wide range of temperatures (generally about -40 to +122 degrees Fahrenheit) and humidity (5% to 95% non-condensing relative humidity). The unit features a triple alarm system with bright visual alarms, a very loud audible alarm at 95 decibels, and a vibrating alarm. This helps to ensure that despite the environmental conditions (loud worksite, bright worksite, hearing protection equipment, etc.) the user can be immediately notified of prospective dangers. Each Single Gas Clip comes with a 2 year warranty (from date of activation) and a 1 year shelf life.
