MGC-WMDOCK MGC Wall Mount Dock - Case, Regulator, Power Supply & USB Memory (For use with MGC Instruments) by Gas Clip Technologies

A New Option in Portable Gas Detection

Twice a day, every day... that's how often you have to charge most portable gas detectors, until now. Introducing the Multi Gas Clip Pump (MGC Pump) from Gas Clip Technologies, the only portable multi gas detector with an internal sampling pump that can go an entire work week without a charge.

A Long-Lasting Family Tradition

The MGC Pump follows in the long line of portable gas detectors by Gas Clip Technologies that last and last and last. Being able to go a long time between charges is a family tradition.

The Secret to a Long Life

Like our MGC, the MGC Pump uses low-power photometric technology to detect combustible gases (LEL) rather than age- old pellistor technology. The MGC Pump uses an IR source which conserves power and helps the battery last and last.

Ergonomic Design Makes for a Good Fit

The MGC Pump is also designed for comfort. The reduced, sloping shape of the holding area at the bottom of the instrument makes the MGC Pump a comfortable fit in the hands of your workers. It is fully submersible and simple to operate. The MGC Pump offers a one button design and the largest LCD screen in the industry so it s easy to read.

Calibrate the MGC Pump Once Every 12 Months

Other multi gas detectors require calibration anywhere from 1 to 3 months. The MGC Pump can go 12 months without being calibrated. This is an added benefit of IR sensing technology because IR is immune to pellistor sensor poisons such as silicone or H2S.

• Runs 5 days continuously without recharging
• Tests for combustible gases (LEL), H2S, CO & O2
• Powerful but quiet pump draws from up to 75 feet
• 1 year calibration cycle saves test gas & time
• LEL sensor (IR) does not require oxygen to detect gas
• Low maintenance cost - IR is immune to sensor poison
• Simple to use one button operation
• Lightweight & durable - alligator clip clamps on tight

MGC-2 Multi Gas Clip 2 Gas Detector with Infrared Combustible Sensor (O2 & LEL) by Gas Clip Technologies

Battery life for months instead of hours!

Day in, day out, your workers have to charge their portable multi gas detectors so they can keep testing for the presence of combustible gases, H2S, CO, and O2. Unfortunately, sometimes they may forget to do so. Gas Clip Technologies can help prevent this safety risk with our new Multi Gas Clip (MGC). It has the longest battery life of any portable gas detector by a long shot.

The new MGC can go a full 2 months without a charge, even without ever having to be turned off. Shut down the unit nightly and the battery can last up to 4 months. What s the secret of the MGC s extended battery life? It uses low-power photo-metric technology for the detection of the combustible gases (LEL). Instead of draining the battery with archaic pellistor technology, the MGC uses an IR source. This conserves power, so the battery lasts and lasts and lasts.

The MGC also eliminates the need to frequently calibrate portable gas detectors. It can go 6 months without being calibrated. That saves time and increases efficiency. Each Multi Gas Clip, IR version, comes with the following features:

• 2 month battery life (continuous run time)
• 6 month calibration cycle
• Will work in inert environments, no need for oxygen
• Simple to use
• Bump/Calibration reminders
• Docking station compatible
• Programmable user ID
• Compact and lightweight
• Low maintenance cost
• 100% quality control testing

MGC-DOCK 4 Bay Calibration and Bump Test Station by Gas Clip Technologies

Gas Clip Technologies Clip Dock is an all in one docking station designed for maximum testing efficiency and portability. Housed in a rugged Pelican© case with robust USB memory, this station will be able to accurately test and record all monitor data while reducing the testing time and gas usage.

Traditional docking stations are only designed to test one instrument at a time, resulting in time consuming testing periods as well as unnecessary usage of testing gas. Gas Clip Technologies has significantly improved both testing time and test gas usage with the Clip Dock; users can now test 4 instruments simultaneously saving both time and money. Each Clip Dock comes with the following standard features:

• Test 4 units at one time, up to 12 instruments in a minute
• Easy 1 button operation
• Robust rechargeable internal battery, hundreds of tests before recharging
• Internal gas cylinder regulator and pressure gauge
• 2 GB USB memory for bump test and event log storage
• Optional unit configuration and firmware updates via GCT Manager Software
• Rugged Pelican© case or Slim Dock case
• No computer required to operate
• Model Numbers: SGC-DOCK (Standard); SGC-DOCK-SLIM (Slim Dock)

Features:

Unit Configuration/Firmware Updates: In order to keep your fleet of gas detectors compliant with specific settings, we allow for the Clip Dock to program each unit during either bump testing or calibration. The programmable fields are as follows: User ID, Calibration Interval, Bump Interval, Self-Test Interval, Low Alarm, High Alarm, Show Sensor Readings, Hide Bump Due LED and Hide Clock. For example, if your company or facility requires each detector on site to have specific alarm set points and a bump test interval, instead of programming each unit individually, the instruments can be group programmed while simultaneously bump testing (4 units at a time per dock) using our GCT Manager software. As firmware updates become available, we can program each Clip Dock to update units during bump testing and calibration. Facility safety standard compliance for single gas detectors is now easily achievable.

Event Data and Record Storage: In addition to performing tests, unit configurations and firmware updates, the Clip Dock also stores important information about both the docking station and units tested. All tests performed on the docking station can be accessed from either the USB directly or using the GCT Manager software. Each bump test and calibration event is recorded and logged by date, time and serial number. Along with the test records, the individual event logs from each unit are saved. At the time of the test, the detector transmits its event log to the memory. By default, the station will save the previous 10 event logs.

Slim Dock Case: Gas Clip Technologies offers a wall mount solution for our Clip Dock. Instead of being housed in a Pelican© case, we provide a slim cabinet type case that can be easily mounted on a wall. This option can be selected at the time of order or can be ordered separately to convert your existing Clip Dock to a Slim Dock. This option is a perfect fit for facilities or office environments.

Gas Clip Technologies GCT
Manager software provides users the ability to communicate and program the Clip Dock or Slim Dock via IR Link or USB memory stick. In order to communicate with a Clip Dock system via infrared, an IR Link is required. Following is a full list of programmable features offered when communicating with the Clip Dock or Slim Dock using the GCT Manager Software via the IR Link:

• Docking Station Location
• Number of Event Logs
• Auto Power-Off Time
• Gas Cylinder Expiration Date
• Gas Cylinder Lot #
• Gas Cylinder Concentration
• Feature Administration Controls
• Station Test Logs
• Individual Instrument Logs
• Inventory Report
• All IR Link Software features
