The GD-K8A is a diffusion style toxic gas detection transmitter ideally suited to meet your toxic gas detection needs. You can choose from a wide variety of toxic sensors to install in this model. The GD-K8A is an ideal solution for many toxic gas monitoring applications. The low profile design is only 1.5 inches thick and is easy to install. The hinged housing makes it easy to maintain. This transmitter can be installed with any RKI controller, or integrated to existing PLC or DCS system via 4-20mA output (24VDC two-wire, loop powered).

The sensors for the GD-K8A are aged and tested over a one to three month period, typically resulting in a three to five year life span, providing a lower cost of ownership for your gas detection system. The sensors are robust electrochemical type that feature higher sensitivity and selectivity. Fast sensor response time and excellent stability make these sensors the most reliable and longest-life electrochemical sensors available today.

Easy handling

Smart sensor technology allows a user to install the transmitter or to replace a sensor within a few seconds just plug the sensor into the transmitter. Adjustments are done directly at the transmitter using touch keys or with the remote control (one-person calibration).

The GX-6100 is a powerful hand-held instrument capable of simultaneously monitoring up to 6 gases. In addition to the standard 4 confined space gases which include combustibles, O2, CO, & H2S, the GX-6100 has 2 additional smart channels that accept PID, PPM, IR or super toxic sensors. The updated GX-6100 can measure combustible gases in PPM range and %volume in the same monitor.

Equipped with a strong internal sample pump, a man-down alarm, a panic alarm, an LED flashlight, and large auto rotating LCD display, the GX-6100 can operate as a single gas PID unit or a multifunctional tool utilizing all 6 channels. The GX-6100 with a PID sensor will come equipped with a library of over 600 VOC gases to choose from as standard. M2 Stand Alone Transmitter

The M2 Stand Alone Transmitter is operational with or without a controller and is available in two forms: explosion proof and non-explosion proof. The unit has a backlit screen for a direct digital readout, and a user friendly setup with push buttons and easy to read LCD menus. The advanced technology transmitter can function as an independent standalone system or as part of an integrated detection and transmission system. Using state of the art technology, the transmitter uses a magnetic want technique for performing non-intrusive calibration. Advanced sensor technology

The state of the art sensors are long lasting with a lifespan typically over two years. Sensor construction is rated Class I, Division 1 groups B, C, and D for flammables, CO, H2S, O2, and CO2. The sensors are rated Class I, Division 2 for all other toxic gases. Depending on the gas, the sensors will operate through a catalytic, galvanic cell, electrochemical, or infrared design. The plug in nature of the sensors allows for a quick and tool free onsite replacement.

Specifications

Each transmitter features 2 to 3 years of life with normal service. The explosion proof LEL H2 specific transmitter has 3 to 5 years with normal service, and the explosion proof carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrocarbons feature over 5 years of life with normal service. The explosion proof transmitters are also water repellant. Each device is approximately 8.5 H x 5.2 W x 4.5 D and features an alphanumeric display with a backlight. The screen displays 8 characters per line with 2 lines for gas concentration readouts.

Optional Accessories

The M2 Stand Alone Transmitter has a variety of optional accessories available including calibration adaptors, flow through adaptors, remote horns and lights, calibration kits, battery backups, splash guards, air aspirator adaptors or panels, and dataloggers. The PS200 is a rugged, easy to use portable multi-gas detector ideal for use in confined spaces and hotworks. Both lightweight and durable the instrument monitors and displays up to four hazardous gas conditions simultaneously using catalytic bead sensor technology for a wide range of combustible gases, and electrochemical sensors for carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and oxygen deficiency.
