Tough and reliable

The Xgard series of fixed point gas detectors is incredibly durable and reliable. Variety of sensors

The fixed point gas detector offers a wide range of sensors for to suite almost all applications. With quick and easy installation and maintenance, the Xgard series is able to keep costs at a minimum. The replacement sensors, for example, are simple to replace by merely plugging them in. The replacement parts are also readily available and compatible with all Xgard models, thereby reducing the amount of required spare parts that are stored in the facility. Additionally, the sensors have two times the typical life spans of similar sensors in the industry. With a 2 year life span, worksites can expect to cut their sensor replacement costs in half. For worksites that require slightly more customization, Crowcon offers compatible accessories for the Xgard series such as sampling applications, remote gassing applications, spray deflectors, sun shields, weatherproof caps, collector cones, flow adapter, and accessories adapter.

Xgard also has flexible installation options. The unit is designed for either wall or ceiling mounts, and users will not need to purchase additional equipment for mounting. For more complex installation needs, users can purchase accessories.

Now both of these problems are a thing of the past. The 01 series are single gas monitors that are exceptionally easy to operate, with unmatched reliability. Simply install the batteries and the units are ready to operate. No complicated set up, and no hassles. Workers will be protected with three levels of alarms. Audible, Visual, and Vibration will make sure users are alerted to a dangerous condition no matter what the environment is. For example if a worker is in a particularly noisy environment they may not hear the audible alarm but they will feel the vibration and see the bright LED visual alarms. The alarms are user adjustable and can be set to any level to meet your particular situation, but come defaulted to OSHA recommended set point levels.
