In addition routine maintenance is easier since auxiliary filters and quick connect fittings can be changed when necessary using the spares in the kit. The 1.0 LPM regulator is more versatile than the 0.5 LPM regulator found in other kits since the 1.0 LPM has a greater flow rate for "sticky" gasses such as Chlorine and Nitrogen Dioxide.

In addition the included holster makes it easy to wear your GasAlertMicro 5 on your body. This holster attaches to your belt and holds the instrument display upside down. The advantage of this is that you don't need to remove it from your belt in order to see the readings. When you lift the end of the instrument the display will now be facing you in the correct orientation.

Other parts of the kit include a 10 ft sampling hose for increased sampling range, a sample probe for taking readings from hard to reach areas, calibration cap, and a durable aluminum carry case that houses everything in custom sized foam cut-outs.
