SC-01 Model Single Toxic Gas Monitor

The SC-01 Single Toxic Gas Monitor is the latest in smart sensor technology with practical applications in refineries, chemical plants, hazmat response, semiconductor plants, and more. It is a versatile single gas detector with interchangeable sensors. The unit automatically recognizes when a sensor has been changed and automatically calibrates to the recognized sensor. The internal technology stores each sensor's configuration and activates the data once the new sensor is recognized.

What sets the SC-01 apart from its competitors is its wide range of available ESM-01 sensors including unique sensors for arsine, ammonia, carbon monoxide, chlorine, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulfide, phosphine, and sulfur dioxide. These plug in style sensors are easy to change and can be replaced quickly while onsite. Onsite workers can also utilize the optional 10 foot extender cable for remote monitoring and quick response.

Exclusive Features

The SC-01's large backlit LCD display is great for onsite use and is easy to read. The screen displays the gas reading, battery level, and current time. When the alarm is activated, the LCD screen's backlight automatically activates. The alarm features a quadruple notification system that includes a buzzing audible alarm, a blinking LED display, a vibration alert, and display indicator. The unit performs regular safety self-evaluations for sensor connections, battery life, and circuit issues. Individuals need personal protection in hazardous areas at all times without adding extra bulky equipment, and the 03 Series can provide that kind of protection at an affordable price. The GP-03, OX-03, CO-03, and HS-03 models are personal single gas monitors designed for protection from exposure to combustible hydrocarbons, oxygen deficiency, hydrogen sulfide, or carbon monoxide.

The Crude Oil Tanker model is a combination type portable HC, O2, and H2s gas detector with an Infrared (NDIR) type sensor, galvanic cell type sensor and Electro-chemical cell type sensor. These sensors provide accurate detection of HC, O2 and H2S levels even in N2 and other inert environments. The measuring ranges of model RX-516 are 0-100%LEL / 0-10%vol for HC, 0-25% vol for O2 and 0-100.0ppm for H2S respectively. A higher range for H2S (0-1,000ppm) is available in model RX-517. A manual switch is used to change the flow to a unique path for high H2S applications to protect the other sensors. Sensor Technology

For hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide, the sensors utilize electrochemical technology which provides incredibly specific accuracy and quick response. Oxygen sensors work with galvanic technology, and infrared sensors for methane, hydrocarbons, and carbon dioxide. Non-explosion proof uses a galvanic sensor for oxygen; electrochemical sensors for hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide and other toxic gases; and infrared for carbon dioxide. Specifications

The response times are under 30 seconds for all gases except hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide in the non-explosion versions (with a response time of 35 seconds) and non-explosion proof model sensor for toxic gases which has a 60 second response time. The life expectancy of all sensors are between 2 and 5 years.

Each sensor comes standard with a one year warranty for materials and workmanship.
