A perfect low cost solution for hydrogen detection in battery rooms, or for LEL or PPM level detection of a variety of flammable or solvent vapors in general industry.

The Model PS 2 is a multipurpose gas monitor utilizing a MOS (metal oxide sensor) for long lasting and low maintenance detection at the LEL or PPM levels of many gases or vapors. The PS 2 has two alarm levels for increasing gas or vapor levels, at the PPM level for detection of many solvent vapors, or for LEL level detection of flammable vapors. Inquire at the factory for your specific requirement. Each alarm level activates a 12 amp relay inside the unit, and terminals are provided for wiring the relay to activate an external alarm device or some other device such as a ventilation fan.

This stand alone unit is housed in a durable plastic enclosure with flanges provided for wall mounting and is designed with easy access wiring hubs on the bottom of the unit. The front of the PS 2 contains three lights; Pilot, Alarm 1, and Alarm 2. An internal audible alarm (85 db) activates in a gas alarm condition.

The standard PS 2 is supplied with the gas sensor located on the end of a 30 foot cable (other cable lengths are also available). Each unit is powered by 115 VAC standard or 24 VDC as standard (48 VDC versions optional), and the AC version comes complete with a 6' power cord.

The 8000 Series regulators are used for calibration of instruments that draw the gas mixture with an internal pump. Constructed of nickelplated brass and aluminum, they are compatible with reactive and non-reactive gas mixtures. The Eagle One to Six Gas Portable Monitor is available with a wide variety of exclusive features. The RAM 4021 AutoCal® series is the unit of choice where specific and accurate measurement of carbon monoxide, oxygen or dew-point levels are required. Designed to meet OSHA requirements for monitoring of Grade D respirable air, this unit is equipped with a reliable electrochemical sensor that accurately indicates the level of carbon monoxide on an illuminated liquid crystal display. Adding versatility, this unit offers optional oxygen or dew point sensors for applications where detection or measurement is needed.

Calibration and maintenance are simple with our innovative AutoCal® system. Respiratory air specifications

All GfG Instrumentation RAM Instruments satisfy the requirements of OSHA rule 29 CFR 1910.134 (d) (2) (ii) for carbon monoxide monitoring. They will also monitor Grade E air, generally specified for breathing air in cylinders (SCBA).

Wall mounted filter panel option

The 25, 50 and 100 CFM panels filter out dangerous toxins from supplied air sources and ensure clean, breathable air. The threestage filter system efficiently removes particulates, oil vapors and hydrocarbons from an air supply. After filtration, the regulator sets the pressure for the respiratory equipment and the manifold assembly provides multiple outlets for airline hose quick connections. The model 8025 panel includes two user female quick connect outlets; the 8050 includes four, and the 8100 includes eight. A 1/2" FPT connection is standard on all 50 and 100 CFM panels, and a 3/8" FPT connection is standard on all 25 CFM panels.
