0555 6442 Compressed Air Flow Transmitter (1" line) by Testo

The compressed air counters testo 6441 to testo 6444 are designed for the measurement, monitoring and recording of compressed air consumption, and therefore also for the determination of leakages in compressed air systems, consumption-based allocation of costs and the implementation of peak load management. Using the compressed air counters testo 6441 to testo 6444, transparency of consumption is created for compressed air, similarly as for the media current, water or gas, thus increasing the motivation of those responsible for the process regarding cost reduction measures and energy savings. The compressed air counters testo 6441 to testo 6444 record norm volume flow according to the calorimetric principle, which means the measurement procedure is independent of the process pressure and does not cause a permanent pressure drop. While the thermal, glass-coated ceramic sensor offers a high level of robustness and fast response times, the integrated inflow and outflow pipes ensure optimum accuracy.

Alarm points

Each alarm can be adjusted separately. False alarms are eliminated with the adjustable alarm delay. The alarm point values can be freely adjusted within the detection range of the transmitter. Every alarm point value can be selected to be latching / non-latching or resettable / non resettable.

Alarm relays

The controller provides four voltage-free relays for the three alarms in addition to one fault warning. The relays may be used to control additional alarm devices like lights or horns. They can even prompt specific counter measures to prevent or limit dangers from gases or vapors.

Additional features

The 4100 control panel stores peak values and offers an additional 4-20 mA output. The 4400 control panel offers the ability to connect up to 4 transmitters and comes standard with an additional 24 VAC output for solenoid control.
