The Bluelab® pH Probe is a replacement pH probe suitable for use with Bluelab® products that use a BNC fitting.

pH probes have a limited lifespan, they age with everyday use. With proper care and use (keeping the probe tip hydrated and cleaning once a month) you can extend the probe life.

The pH probe tip should be stored in KCl solution to minimise the contamination of the gel.

The 'Shroud' (found at the probe) is very important for the accuracy and protection of the meter.

The shroud carries out three crucial functions:

• Protects the probe tip from damage
• Slows the movement of the solution to get a more accurate reading

The shroud is removed prior to the cleaning process.
