The Pyxis SP-710 is a handheld multimeter unit capable of measuring up to 6 key water treatment parameters simultaneously. SP-710 offers pH, Conductivity, PTSA, Temperature, ORP and a Free/Total Chlorine Colorimeter uniquely designed as a multimeter for cooling water applications.

The unit offers a Bluetooth enabled and fully potted, battery powered pH/ORP module, eliminating water and KCl contamination to the unit processor. The new module design offers wireless communication to the base SP710 unit and can also be viewed via the uPyxis APP for smartphone and/or our full scale SP-910 Colorimeter.

The SP-710B offers pH, Conductivity, PTSA, Temperature, ORP and Fluorescein for boiler water applications. Both units offer a Bluetooth enabled and fully potted, battery powered pH/ORP module, eliminating water and KCl contamination to the unit processor. The SP710/B is fully waterproof and industrialized and available with an optional body case bump guard with bet clip for ease of access and protection. Pyxis has integrated a fully molded screen to ensure a water proof seal under a pressurized manufacturing environment. The device itself also contains an integrated humidity sensor to ensure a water-free electronic environment.

The simplicity of the one-handed operation is empowered by the Pyxis Inc. proprietary technology that combines electrochemical and optical measurements in a cuvette-less platform. This unique technology simultaneously measures and compensates for Color and Turbidity contamination of the water sample during fluorescence testing, ensuring precise measurement capability +/1ppb resolution, unmatched in the water treatment market.

In less than one minute, results for all key parameters for a typical traced cooling and boiler water treatment applications can be determined. The SP-710/B stores the history for all measurements which can then be transferred via Bluetooth to smartphones or computers for statistical analysis via the uPyxis APP. The SP-710/B can also be used to wirelessly diagnose and calibrate the Pyxis ST-500 and ST-525 inline PTSA/Fluorescein probes, dramatically reducing service time in the field associated with tracer probe calibration.
