The GD-K8A is a diffusion style toxic gas detection transmitter ideally suited to meet your toxic gas detection needs. You can choose from a wide variety of toxic sensors to install in this model. The GD-K8A is an ideal solution for many toxic gas monitoring applications. The low profile design is only 1.5 inches thick and is easy to install. The hinged housing makes it easy to maintain. This transmitter can be installed with any RKI controller, or integrated to existing PLC or DCS system via 4-20mA output (24VDC two-wire, loop powered).

The sensors for the GD-K8A are aged and tested over a one to three month period, typically resulting in a three to five year life span, providing a lower cost of ownership for your gas detection system. Its common platform integrates numerous detection methods and requires very little maintenance.

Exclusive Features

The plug and play intelligent sensors make for easy setup and calibration by internally retaining calibration and sensor data. For little maintenance and optimal reliability, the internal technology automatically adjusts for long-term zero and span drift. The pump flow is also self-tuning for low maintenance functioning. In general, the smart sensors use electrochemical cell detection, semiconductor detection, pyrolysis-particle detection, galvanic cell detection, and catalytic combustion detection.

The GD-70D Series features a large LCD display that easily reads all notifications and provides a color coded graph for alarm status (first and second alarms are red, and fault alarms are yellow). The LCD screen displays the pyrolyzer connection, gas concentration, detection unit of measurement, the detected gas, the maintenance status, sensor identification, the flow rate, a graph of gas concentration, error codes, and alarm points. All operational settings are completely user adjustable from the front panel. The unit also has a self-diagnosing function which detects sensor trouble and system failure. The Intelligent Gas Detector has a convenient troubleshoot feature through its firmware. This allows users to investigate and resolve their own equipment issues while minimizing maintenance costs.

The 35-3000RK series is a compact sample draw detector assembly with a built-in pump that accepts a 24VDC input. This unit features a NEMA 4X enclosure making it dust, water and corrosion resistant. It also features a flowmeter with adjustable flow and a low flow alarm which warns of any obstructions or restrictions in the flow system. Combustibles, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide versions are available with or without a 4-20 mA transmitter. The 35-3000RK is also available with both LEL and oxygen sensors in one unit.

The 35-3000RK is capable of single person calibrations and remote sampling at up to 5,000 ft. from a controller, and interfacing to any RKI or third party control system (utilizing a 4-20 mA feedback signal). The SM-2000 single module calibration station for the GX-2009 and GX-2003 portable gas monitors is a stand alone station that can calibrate, bump test, charge, and archive data without the need of a computer to operate. The module has 4 operating modes, which include bump test only, % volume methane bump/calibration (for the GX-2003), calibration only, and bump with automatic calibration (if the bump test fails). The SM-2000 modules are capable of storing up to 200 bump test or calibration records. To download the data each module includes a 1 GB USB flash drive. Also included is a software package to import the data from the USB drive and manage records by serial #, user ID, or station ID. Each module has user adjustable test times and tolerances to meet specific testing requirements. The charger within the module quick charges battery packs within 90 minutes and will recognize alkaline batteries. The Calibration Station power requirements are 115/230 VAC, 50/60Hz.
