The operation of the DS404 docking station couldn't be any easier. Simply put the G450 or the G460 in the dock and the system will take over from there. The DS404 automatically performs a full functional test including fresh air calibration, bump test, extensive sensor tests, alarm tests and optionally performs an automatic AutoCal® calibration.

Extensive diagnostics

The DS404 is designed to go beyond the traditional basic docking station tests and includes sensor diagnostics tests such as T50 and T90. After all, what good is a sensor that can respond to gas when it takes too long to get there? With the DS404 you can have confidence with this added level of safety.

Automatic charging

After all tests have been completed the DS404 will automatically start the charging process of the detector or you may remove and begin using it. In case the detectors battery condition is insufficient to complete a test the DS404 will charge the instrument before performing the test.

Long Battery Life

The G450 Multi-gas Detector also features a long life battery operation that is most efficient for workplace safety. The device has a batter life of up to 25 hours of continuous operation. With alkaline packs, the units are powered by 2 AA batteries, and when placed in the drop in cradle, the rechargeable battery packs can be fully recharged in less than 4 hours. The rechargeable packs have optional flash light LEDs to indicate charge level.

Triple Alarm System

This unit features an elaborate alarm system that is not to be missed. The triple alarm system features a loud audible alarm of 103dB, a vibrating alarm, and bright 360 wrap around LEDs with a colored backlit display for visual alarms. The alarm system ensures that users and those nearby are fully aware of possible environmental hazards. Additionally, the easy to read backlit display will light varying colors from green, orange, and red to intuitively notify users of the severity of the conditions.

Features

The G450 Multi-gas Detector is encased in a dust proof and highly water resistant housing. The housing even contains a built in rubber boot to help protect from regular wear and tear. Each unit is equipped with datalogging capabilities. The datalogger records and internally stores all activity and environmental conditions. Users can download this information to their computers and use it to research, analyze, and evaluate the jobsite environment.

The multi-gas detection system comes standard with a few accessories including a calibration adaptor, a training manual, and a training DVD. The rechargeable devices include the previous accessories and additional drop in cradle chargers and a wall power adaptor. Optional accessories include a datalogging kit, self powered attachable motorized sample pump, spare battery packs, and rechargeable battery packs. G460 Multi-Gas Detector

The G460 Multi-Gas Detector is a compact and robust system with the capabilities of detecting up to six different gases and simultaneously displaying the readings. The portable detector features a user friendly and intuitive interface to simplify the day to day operations.

Ease of Use

For typical daily operations, the G460 Multi-Gas Detector operates with a single button. The complete user interface can provide access to advanced setup options with three buttons. The unit also features easy calibration operation. Simply attach the calibration adapter and apply gas. The G460 will automatically perform the appropriate adjustments. The detector will then store the dates of the three most recent calibrations for each sensor.

The G460 also features a large easy to read tricolor display which uses a color code to indicate the alarm severity. From green to orange to red, the tricolor display is intuitive and incredibly user friendly. The display feature can also flip or zoom with the touch of a button. The G460 multi-faceted alarm system also includes an ultra loud audible buzzer at 103 dB, a standard vibration mechanism, and 360 bright LED alerts (the LED alerts can also be equipped to function as flashlights). This multi-faceted system is sure to alert users and those nearby of the potential hazardous conditions. The compatible long lasting (and interchangeable) smart sensors include LEL, SO2, O2, H2, H2S, NO, CO, O3, HF, NH3, CIO2, CI2, PH3, ETO, HCN, and NO2. GfG s EC 21 transmitter for detecting toxic gases in ambient air is an inexpensive gas detection solution for use in a wide variety of today's industrial applications.

Simple gas detection

The EC 21 is the simplest way to monitor ambient conditions. Simply attach the EC21 to a GfG controller or a PLC to continuously and efficiently monitor the concentration of hazardous toxic contaminants in the air.

The EC 21 is reverse-wire protected to prevent damage due to incorrect wiring of the device. The power connector hasa "quick disconnect" feature to simplify transmitter installation and service.

Mounting Position of the EC 21

To determine the mounting position of the EC 21 it is important to know and consider the ambient conditions. To achieve the best results, the ventilation conditions and the density of the gases need to be considered.

The EC 21 must be installed so that the gas reaches the sensor even in poorly ventilated areas. If necessary, check the area with a smoke cartridge.

Other influences such as water (rain, dripping or condensation) and dust need to be considered as well.
