Features

The Eagle One to Six Gas Portable Monitor is available with a wide variety of exclusive features. The unit is capable of PPM/LEL hydrocarbon detection and for environmental use, has a methane elimination switch. The dual hydrophobic filters (available on some models) ensure quality control. To preserve the integrity and safety of the device, the portable monitor also has an adjustment lockout switch to prevent tampering. For quick and easy testing, the monitor offers autocalibration and single gas calibration.

The Eagle is housed in an ergonomic RFI, EMI, chemical, and weather resistant polycarbonate and polyester enclosure. It can operate in the rain or in 2 inches of water without damage. It features an ergonomically designed top handle to ensure durability.

Accessories and Options

IR Sensors are available for CO2, % LEL CH4 or HC, and % volume CH4 or HC. Each unit also has datalogging capabilities for research, evaluation, and analysis of worksite atmospheres. The unit comes standard with several accessories including a shoulder strap, alkaline batteries, a hydrophobic probe, a 5 foot hose, and an internal hydrophobic filter with most models. Optional accessories can be purchased to fully customize the portable monitor to meet specific needs including a datalogging kit, remote alarms, dilution fitting, Ni-Cad batteries, battery chargers, continuous operation adapter, extra loud buzzer, extension probes, and large internal hydrophobic filter.

Specifications

The Eagle has a battery life of up to 30 hours of continuous operation with alkaline or Ni-cad capability and a sensor life of approximately 2 years. Its standard weight is approximately 5 pounds with dimensions of 10.5 L x 5.9 W x 7 H. The formidable long life pump (with a life of approximately 6,000 hours) reaches up to 125 feet in range with filters and has a low flow pump shut off and alarm. The unit has a response time of up to 30 seconds for most gases, and features a double alarm of audible alerts at 85 dB and visual alerts of dual high intensity LEDs and a flashing display screen.

The display screen is an easy to read 4 x 20 LCD readout. The backlit display sits at the top of the unit for full visibility, and displays the readings and statuses of 4 channels simultaneously.

E3Point is capable of detecting the widest range of toxic and combustible gases found in commercial building spaces and outbuildings, including CO, NO2, O2, H2, H2S, CH4 and C3H8. With quick and easy installation and maintenance, the Xgard series is able to keep costs at a minimum. The replacement sensors, for example, are simple to replace by merely plugging them in. The replacement parts are also readily available and compatible with all Xgard models, thereby reducing the amount of required spare parts that are stored in the facility. Additionally, the sensors have two times the typical life spans of similar sensors in the industry. With a 2 year life span, worksites can expect to cut their sensor replacement costs in half. For worksites that require slightly more customization, Crowcon offers compatible accessories for the Xgard series such as sampling applications, remote gassing applications, spray deflectors, sun shields, weatherproof caps, collector cones, flow adapter, and accessories adapter.

The all new GDC-150 transmitter from Bacharach offers detection and protection for a wide range of hazards including toxic gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen depletion, combustible gases, refrigerant leaks and total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs). Analog interfaces allow the transmitter to be connected back to Bacharach's GDA Series of controllers (or any other gas detection controller), building management systems or control systems. The GDC-150 features 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC linear output signals, an automatic thermal resetting fuse, RoHS compliant circuit boards and LED indicators for power and open loop.

The onboard alarm LED's indicate when alarm threshold values are exceeded. The unit can be ordered with an optional alpha numeric LED display that shows gas concentrations in real time while alarm relays alert personnel of potential dangers, avoiding incidents and potential hazards.

The GDC-150 is packaged in a rugged, polycarbonate housing for both indoor and outdoor applications. Time-proven and innovative

The EC 22 is equipped with high quality GfG sensors. The transmitters are fitted with high-performance electronics for voltage stabilization, processing of readings, and temperature compensation. Follow up costs are minimized thanks to the long lifespan of the sensors.

Universal signal transmission

Either an analog or digital output signal can be transmitted by the EC 22 by means of a Modbus interface. Due to the different types of signal transmission, a transmitter from the 22 series can be connected to almost any gas detecting system, also as a supplementary or replacement transmitter on existing systems.

Signal processing

The embedded software of the EC 22 linearizes the measuring signal and compensates for the effects of temperature. As a result, correct readings are transmitted even with weather related fluctuations in temperature. In addition, the transmitter also offers the option of transmitting service, maintenance, and error messages to a connected gas measuring computer.

Weather protection

A weatherproof housing not only protects transmitters against exposure to wind and weather, but also against contamination and excessive temperatures caused by direct sunlight.

Optional colored graphic display and horn

The clear graphic display of the EC 22 is self explanatory and allows you to read the current status and other important information with ease. The display enables you to navigate effortlessly through the unit s concise menu and to change settings or even calibrate, depending on your user authorization. In the event of an alarm the display changes color from green to red. Two LEDs indicate the status.

Operation buttons

The buttons on the transmitter allow the unit to be calibrated and settings to be adjusted through the menu as needed.

Tailor-made gas monitoring

Small and lightweight: The X-am 5800 is comfortable to wear and easy to use even with gloves on thanks to its large buttons. The display clearly shows important information such as gas readings, alarms and time. The green D-light indicates that the unit is ready for use. All this, plus the completely language-free icon based user interface, makes it pleasantly simple to use and familiarise yourself with. For your added safety, its oxygen channel has four alarm thresholds – real pre-alarms and main alarms for falling and rising concentrations. Approved for use in Ex zone 0, it has also been tested according to protection class IP 68.

Powerful sensors

The new CatEx sensor offers you even more advantages: readiness for calibration within seconds, extreme robustness against shocks and the measurement of flammable vapours – such as petrol, diesel and nonane. You can also set the measurement gas to methane, propane, hydrogen, and many other gases. The performance is complemented by Drager's simple cross calibration concept, in which the measurement gas, calibration gas and bump test gas can be specified individually. Your advantage: sensors and device are perfectly matched to each other – saving you operating costs. Focus on sustainability

During the development of the X-am 5800, great importance was given to sustainability. The optimised Drager Sensors and the rechargeable power supply, which can be easily replaced with one screw, ensure it has a long service life. Almost all spare parts can be replaced by trained users, while all remaining parts can be repaired by Drager Service. Furthermore, existing accessories from the previous series can still be used.
