MGS-150 Series Gas Transmitter is a feature-rich gas detection system with a wide range of sensor options to provide real-time monitoring of refrigerant, combustible, and toxic gases. It comes standard with user-selectable analog and digital outputs that can be set for 4-20 mA, 0-5V, 1-5V, 0-10V, or 2-10V; allowing them to connect directly to most BMS, SCADA or control systems. S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The RKI S2 Sensors and Transmitters use state of the art sensor technology to detect common gas hazards. The sensors are available in explosion proof casing for monitoring LEL, H2 specific, oxygen, H2S, CO2, and carbon monoxide. These sensors also have flame arrestors and are approved for use in hazardous environments. The oxygen, H2S, CO, and CO2 sensors are available in non-explosion proof models. The sensors provide highly specific and quick detection and are long lasting. The sensors can be quickly replaced while on the field and do not require any tools.

Explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The explosion proof sensors use a variety of detection mechanisms including catalytic for LEL and LEL- H2 specific; metal oxide semiconductor for hydrogen; galvanic cell technology for oxygen; electrochemical for hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide; and infrared for carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrocarbons. A hydrogen specific sensor transmitter is not available. Each of these detection methods come with their own measuring range specifications and response times varying from 20 seconds to 45 seconds. These sensors are stainless steel and are housed in a cast aluminum explosion proof J-Box (a stainless steel J-Box is also available).

Non-explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The non-explosion proof sensors use galvanic cells for oxygen detection; electrochemical technology for hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, and other toxics; and infrared technology for carbon dioxide detection. The response times vary between 20 seconds and 60 seconds depending on the targeted gas, and the measuring ranges vary as well. These sensors are plastic or aluminum and housed in an explosion proof J-Box.

The S2 Sensor/Transmitter has numerous accessories available to meet the individual workplace's needs. Superior technology

The ZD 22 Transmitter is specifically designed for long-term monitoring of oxygen concentrations. The integrated amperometric oxygen sensor is based on an electrochemical oxygen pumping cell made of zirconium dioxide. It is characterized by its robustness, a very high life expectancy and its outstanding long-term stability. The integrated thermostatic control of the sensor element achieves accurate measuring results in the entire temperature range, regardless of the operating temperature. It can also be permanently used in environments with high concentrations of CO2 or in dry atmosphere. Special equipment is available to protect the transmitter when used in harsh environments.

Signal processing

The protective casing (IP 54) of the ZD 22 Transmitter contains the complete signal processing electronics and the failsafe routing of the measurement signal for the measuring computer, with extensive self-monitoring. The embedded software linearises the measuring signal and compensates for the effects of temperature. As a result, correct readings are transmitted even with weather related fluctuations in temperature. In addition, the transmitter can be connected to a gas measurement computer for the option of transmitting service, maintenance, and error messages.

Universal signal transmission

The ZD 22 Transmitter transmits the signals either using an analog (0.2 1mA / 4-20 mA) current interface or a digital (RS485) Modbus interface. This permits the universal use of the trasmitters in combination with GfG gas measurement computers and thus connection to a safety system, so that you and your systems will benefit from the best possible protection.

There are a variety of applications for the ZD 22 in regard to sensors, status LEDs and optional analog or digital interface, "Zero" key to calibrate the zero point, test socket and a potentiometer for the calibration of the sensor.

Weather protection

A weatherproof housing not only protects transmitters against exposure to wind and weather, but also against contamination and excessive temperatures caused by direct sunlight.

Optional colored graphic display

The clear graphic display of the ZD 22 is self explanatory and allows you to read the current status and other important information with ease.
