FP-330 Paper Tape Machine for Formaldehyde by RKI Instruments

RKI s paper tape monitors utilize highly sensitive colorimetric tapes to achieve interference free gas detection. The FP-330 is equipped with an easily replaceable tape that is highly specific to Formaldehyde. This model is equipped with a digital display showing the type of gas and concentration in PPM. The FP-330 will also display remaining tape life as well as an end of tape alarm.

The FP-330 has audible and visual alarms, as well as alarm relay contacts and 4-20mA output. A unique Tape Saver mode" extends tape life in applications where high background gas levels may be present.

The FP-330 meets and exceeds OSHA and NIOSH compliance requirements, and does not respond to interfering gases (hydrocarbons, alcohols, solvents, CO, etc.) that may be present in industrial/manufacturing environments.

The all new GDC-150 transmitter from Bacharach offers detection and protection for a wide range of hazards including toxic gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen depletion, combustible gases, refrigerant leaks and total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs). Analog interfaces allow the transmitter to be connected back to Bacharach's GDA Series of controllers (or any other gas detection controller), building management systems or control systems. The GDC-150 features 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC linear output signals, an automatic thermal resetting fuse, RoHS compliant circuit boards and LED indicators for power and open loop.

The onboard alarm LED's indicate when alarm threshold values are exceeded. The unit can be ordered with an optional alpha numeric LED display that shows gas concentrations in real time while alarm relays alert personnel of potential dangers, avoiding incidents and potential hazards.

73-1063 FP-31 Portable Formaldehyde Monitor by RKI Instruments

The FP-31 is a highly sensitive portable gas detector specific for formaldehyde detection. It uses a photoelectric photometry method which utilizes colorimetric tablets for detection. A tablet in placed into the instrument, and then a room air sample is pumped onto the tablet for either a 15 minute or a 30 minute period. If formaldehyde is present, it will cause the chemically impregnated tablet surface to darken or stain. The magnitude of the stain directly correlates to the level of formaldehyde in the air. The stain darkness is read by an optical sensor in the FP-31, and then the instrument calculates the formaldehyde concentration. The FP-31 then has a direct readout of the formaldehyde measurement on an easy to read LCD display. The unit is capable of detecting very low levels of formaldehyde, in order to confirm if an area contains safe breathing levels. There are no known interfering gases, as shown on the chart on the reverse side of this sheet.
