Ease of Use

For typical daily operations, the G460 Multi-Gas Detector operates with a single button. The complete user interface can provide access to advanced setup options with three buttons. The detector will then store the dates of the three most recent calibrations for each sensor.

The G460 also features a large easy to read tricolor display which uses a color code to indicate the alarm severity. Sensor Technology

For hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide, the sensors utilize electrochemical technology which provides incredibly specific accuracy and quick response. Oxygen sensors work with galvanic technology, and infrared sensors for methane, hydrocarbons, and carbon dioxide. Non-explosion proof uses a galvanic sensor for oxygen; electrochemical sensors for hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide and other toxic gases; and infrared for carbon dioxide. Bacharach's all new GDA-1600 Controller offers premier performance and functionality in a standalone controller. From one to sixteen channels, the GDA-1600 is designed to provide operators the most detailed, real time information about gas concentrations throughout the facility. Information is relayed to the operator through a large LCD display that shows real time gas concentrations, sensor location, sensor type, as well as historical data trends. Each channel has three independent, user-programmable alarm threshold values that allow for flexibility in alarm notification. When alarms do occur, operators are notified via LED alarm indicators on the front panel, clearly showing which channel is in alarm and the alarm state. Internal relays can also be utilized to control fans, horns, or beacons when alarm thresholds are exceeded. When responding to alarms, information is critical. The 4100 one-channel and the 4-channel 4400 gas warning systems offer safe and reliable gas detection.

Alarm points

Each alarm can be adjusted separately. False alarms are eliminated with the adjustable alarm delay. The alarm point values can be freely adjusted within the detection range of the transmitter. Every alarm point value can be selected to be latching / non-latching or resettable / non resettable.

Alarm relays

The controller provides four voltage-free relays for the three alarms in addition to one fault warning. The relays may be used to control additional alarm devices like lights or horns. They can even prompt specific counter measures to prevent or limit dangers from gases or vapors.
