Simple to use

• Gasmonitor Plus offers flexibility whilst still providing simple operation. All the day to day functions are accessible via push buttons on the front panel.
• As well as a rolling display, indicating the channel currently monitored, each channel has a bar graph display. This unique bar graph format is ranged to indicate readings below the first alarm setting, providing an instantaneous representation of the gas concentration on every detector.
• Common alarm LEDs on the display card and individual alarms on the panel only light when a hazard or fault is detected. This means the whole rack status can be checked at a glance.

Flexible architecture

• Each channel has three levels of alarm as well as a dedicated analogue output, set as 4-20 mA as standard.
• Optional relay modules can interface to the panel to provide up to a total of 84 output relays per rack. Sixteen of these relays can be configured/voted from a combination of the three levels of alarm per channel.
• The RS232 digital interface provides connectivity with PC for configuration, monitoring and datalog upload. Each rack is uniquely addressable, making multi-drop architectures possible. This cuts down on configuration and monitoring cabling.

Configurations for every need

The Draeger X-dock® on all sitings comes in multiple configurations to allow for flexibility, depending on the type of detection instrumentation being used.

The X-dock® 5300 includes a master controller with a module for a single gas detection instrument in the X-am® or Pac family of products. The X-dock® 6300 and 6600 versions can be configured freely. They consist of a master controller and can be expanded with up to 10 modules for X-am® 1/2/5000 and/or Pac single gas detection instruments. For the X-am 8000 it can be expanded to with up to 5 modules.

Reduced test gas use means reduced costs

With a reduced gas flow (300 mL/min instead of 500 mL/min = 40% decrease) per module, you save money on test gases. Short testing times also reduce the overall maintenance requirements. Draeger's patent pending innovative valve concept only needs one pump, which means less wear on parts for you. The valves automatically switch the test gases and the fresh air source as well.

Time is money. You save both with the X-dock®

Up to 10 modules can be connected to the X-dock®, allowing you to test gas detection instruments simultaneously or independently of each other. The automatic bump test also saves time, because the test only takes 8 to 15 seconds. All Draeger test gas cylinders are already stored in the database—just enter the part number to automatically fill the fields required for the gas configuration, eliminating the need for manual data entry.

S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The RKI S2 Sensors and Transmitters use state of the art sensor technology to detect common gas hazards. Explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The explosion proof sensors use a variety of detection mechanisms including catalytic for LEL and LEL- H2 specific; metal oxide semiconductor for hydrogen; galvanic cell technology for oxygen; electrochemical for hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide; and infrared for carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrocarbons. A hydrogen specific sensor transmitter is not available. Each of these detection methods come with their own measuring range specifications and response times varying from 20 seconds to 45 seconds. These sensors are stainless steel and are housed in a cast aluminum explosion proof J-Box (a stainless steel J-Box is also available).

Non-explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The non-explosion proof sensors use galvanic cells for oxygen detection; electrochemical technology for hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, and other toxics; and infrared technology for carbon dioxide detection. The response times vary between 20 seconds and 60 seconds depending on the targeted gas, and the measuring ranges vary as well. These sensors are plastic or aluminum and housed in an explosion proof J-Box.

The S2 Sensor/Transmitter has numerous accessories available to meet the individual workplace's needs.
