G450 Multi-gas Detector

The G450 Multi-gas Detector continually measures up to four separate atmospheric gases. In confined spaces, the detector will monitor LEL combustible gas, oxygen, H2S, and CO. The easy to use G450 series of detectors is designed with user friendliness in mind. Many of its most common functions are operated with a single button, and the unit features a fully automatic calibration system. Users need only to attach the adaptor and flow gas to the sensors. The unit s GfG AutoCal system will automatically initiate the calibration sequence and will update the necessary information on the G450 Multi-gas Detector.

Long Battery Life

The G450 Multi-gas Detector also features a long life battery operation that is most efficient for workplace safety. The device has a batter life of up to 25 hours of continuous operation. With alkaline packs, the units are powered by 2 AA batteries, and when placed in the drop in cradle, the rechargeable battery packs can be fully recharged in less than 4 hours. The rechargeable packs have optional flash light LEDs to indicate charge level.

Triple Alarm System

This unit features an elaborate alarm system that is not to be missed. The triple alarm system features a loud audible alarm of 103dB, a vibrating alarm, and bright 360 wrap around LEDs with a colored backlit display for visual alarms. The alarm system ensures that users and those nearby are fully aware of possible environmental hazards. Additionally, the easy to read backlit display will light varying colors from green, orange, and red to intuitively notify users of the severity of the conditions.

Optimized Alarm System

The new G400 MP-2 pump continuously communicates with the G450/G460 gas detector. This interaction allows fault indication via the detector display. Alarms such as low battery, blocked sampling line or interrupted power fault are shown on the display and activate a visual and audible alarm on the monitor.

Various Applications

Gas samples can be taken from a distance of up 100 meters (over 300 feet) at a typical draw rate of 0.5 liters per minute.

Superior Flexibility

The G400 MP-2 is the only detachable pump on the market today which will allow for operation in both diffusion mode and remote sample-draw mode. Simply slide the shutter to turn the pump on or off. When the pump is on, the shutter covers the diffusion inlets and exposes them when the pump is switched off.

The G400 MP-2 features a high efficiency redundant filter system in addition to a standard external probe with dust and hydrophobic filters.

Independent Power Supply

The G400 MP-2 is operated by its own power supply, independent of the gas detector. The power supply of the pump allows for up to 10 hours of continuous operation.

The Eagle 2 is heavily protected from environmental conditions by a weather proof, chemical resistant RFI/EMI coated high impact polycarbonate/PBT blend enclosure. The GX-2001 is the smallest 4-gas monitor in the world and now it is available with a compact battery operated sample-drawing pump that attaches in line for remote, portable monitoring. Together the model RP-6 sample drawing pump and the GX-2001 make a complete solution for confined space entry situations.

The RP-6 pump is housed in a rugged plastic case with quick connect fittings located on both ends of the unit. It is sold with either a 4 rubber nipple or with a 10' hose and probe. When buying the RP-6 with the 10' hose and probe, the probe is equipped with a dust filter and the 10' hose connects at the RP-6's quick connect inlet fitting. The inlet fitting of the RP-6 then connects to a removable clear plastic cup, which is a filter holder. This filter holder contains a dust and hydrophobic filter inside. The exhaust fitting of the RP-6, which is also a quick connect, connects to a coiled hose, which brings the sample to the GX-2001. The RP-6 will run for 5 hours from just 1 AA alkaline battery.

A rotating, ON/OFF switch is located near the inlet end of the RP-6. When the ON/OFF switch is on, the green power LED is illuminated. If a low flow condition occurs, the RP-6 will go into low flow alarm with a red flashing LED. For additional versatility, the RP-6 is also available for use with our model GX-94 portable gas monitor.

The instruments stand out thanks to the combination of a pH immersion probe and a temperature probe for precise and fast temperature compensation.
