Three-strand RTD wire features excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and moisture. Each silver-plated copper strad is color-coded with fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP). The three starnds are twisted to increase flexibility and minimize electromagnetic noise, then jacketed in white FEP. The FEP insulation provides temperature resistance up to 400°F, and chemical resistance to solvents, acids, and oils. Additionally, the insulation protects the wire from thermal aging, while maintaining its strength and flexibility.

The data logger features a time delay of 30 minutes so the logger will not alert when the temperature is within the alarm zone, until the delay time elapses. Protective plastic pouch keeps logger dry, eliminating concerns when shipping materials with cold packs, ice, or in damp environments. To maintain IP67 waterproof rating, do not tear open pouch before data download.

Products have an individually-numbered Certificate provided with each unit, that assures accuracy from our ISO/IEC 17025:2017(1750.01) calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability of measurements to the SI units through NIST or other recognized national measurement institutes (NMI) that are signatories to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Agreement. Easily monitor temperatures overnight or for any time period minimum and maximum temperatures are stored until the memory is cleared. Set high and low alarms in 1° increments; alarm sounds when temperature rises above or falls below set points. The alarm tracking feature stores data for up to 10 different alarm events detailing when the alarm state occurred, as well as when the unit returned within range. Alarm state indicator includes visual LEDs, audio alerts, and flashing LCD segments.

Transfer data recorded in a CSV format to any computer via a USB flash drive no software is required. Simply clear memory after downloading data to USB drive. Unit continues to record new data while downloading old data. Other status indicators include low-battery, memory full, USB data transfer, and active alarm state. All probes are attached to a 10-ft (3-m) microcable that permits a door to close on it.
