G450 Multi-gas Detector

The G450 Multi-gas Detector continually measures up to four separate atmospheric gases. In confined spaces, the detector will monitor LEL combustible gas, oxygen, H2S, and CO. The easy to use G450 series of detectors is designed with user friendliness in mind. Many of its most common functions are operated with a single button, and the unit features a fully automatic calibration system. Users need only to attach the adaptor and flow gas to the sensors. The unit's GfG AutoCal system will automatically initiate the calibration sequence and will update the necessary information on the G450 Multi-gas Detector.

Long Battery Life

The G450 Multi-gas Detector also features a long life battery operation that is most efficient for workplace safety. The device has a batter life of up to 25 hours of continuous operation. With alkaline packs, the units are powered by 2 AA batteries, and when placed in the drop in cradle, the rechargeable battery packs can be fully recharged in less than 4 hours. The rechargeable packs have optional flash light LEDs to indicate charge level.

Triple Alarm System

This unit features an elaborate alarm system that is not to be missed. The triple alarm system features a loud audible alarm of 103dB, a vibrating alarm, and bright 360 wrap around LEDs with a colored backlit display for visual alarms. Sensors for special gases

The Draeger Pac 8000 performs especially well when detecting a variety of special gases. The Pac 8000 can be fitted with sensors for carbon dioxide (CO₂), chlorine gas (Cl₂), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), ammonia (NH₃), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), phosphine (PH₃) and organic vapors (OV or OV-A).

Further demonstrating the capabilites of Draeger gas detectors is that the Draeger Pac 8000 performs especially well when detecting other gases as well. It can detect ozone (O₃) from concentrations as low as 0.02 ppm and phosgene (COCl₂) from 0.01 ppm. The Pac 8000 detects nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) from concentrations as low as 0.04 ppm.

If the Draeger Pac 8000 measures hazardous gas concentrations, it sets off an audible, visual and noticeable vibrating alarm. Two bright, flashing LEDs on the top and bottom of the device ensure that the alarm is easily visible from all sides. The acoustic signal reaches a volume of 90 dB. The display can show the peak concentration measured at any given moment. Earlier alarms registered can also be retrieved at a later time, even if acknowledged.

Data logger and event logger for analyses and reports

The Pac 8000 logs concentrations and events along with date and time. The data can be downloaded to a PC via an interface and processed further there.

The CS 21 transmitter uses the proven chemosorption detection principle for detection of toxic gases, vapors and combustibles. Wall mount installation is straightforward. The distance between transmitter and controller can be greater than 500 m. A rugged aluminum casing protects the sensor and electronics from splashes of water and dirt. The transmitter must not be operated in EX-areas. For measurement of combustible gases in the LEL range the gas needs to be sampled by pump. The RKI direct connect series gas sensors are highly reliable and very cost effective for the detection of common gas hazards. The direct connect series are available for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO for a variety of RKI's controllers. All sensors are explosion-proof with flame arrestors, and approved for use in hazardous locations.

The tri-sensor head can be used either indoors or outdoors. The flame arrestors for the explosion-proof versions utilize a patented coating which make them water repellent. Also, splash guards are available for use in very wet environments.

The unique tri-sensor design integrates 3 sensors into one explosion proof housing. This results in significant savings with installation and wiring cost versus traditional single sensor enclosures. Only one conduit needs to be run to the sensors.
