POLI MP400 Series Multi-Gas Detector by mPower Electronics

The POLI multi-gas meters offer 4-gas monitoring of toxic gases, oxygen (O₂), combustibles (LEL), carbon dioxide (CO₂) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The POLI MP400P is an advanced model with built-in pump that allows a full selection of sensors for a wide range of applications, including Confined Space Entry, while the POLI MP400 is a basic, 4-gas diffusion detector for worker safety at hazardous locations. Smart sensors carry calibration and ID information with them for quick exchange in the field during Hazmat response. Specific sensors include electrochemical (EC) for carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), ammonia (NH₃), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), hydrogen chloride (HCl), chlorine (Cl₂), chlorine dioxide (ClO₂), nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), ethylene oxide, methyl mercaptan, and others. Also available are pellistor for LEL level combustibles, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) for Vol% level CO₂ or methane, and photo-ionization detector (PID) for ppm level VOCs. Use of combination CO/H₂S or SO₂/H₂S and CH₄/CO₂ sensors allows up to 6 gas measurements in a single instrument. The MP400/400P has rugged construction and easy-to-learn 2-button operation. The unique Man-Down alarm feature notifies team workers wirelessly if a user becomes incapacitated.

This is all done using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), which also provides the option to see bump data and calibration results, including who did the last calibration, when it was done, and what the readings were. This data can be entered into a certificate and sent to those requiring the data.

For easy data sharing and optimal safety, the Honeywell BW™ Solo is fully compatible with the IntelliDox docking station system as well as the Honeywell SafetySuite Device Configurator software.

The IntelliDox Advantage

The use of the IntelliDox docking station system makes it easy to perform tests and transfer information. The detector is placed into the docking station, allowing for automatic transfer of data as well as the option to perform various actions.

The docking station provides the options to do a bump test, complete calibration, set bump reminders, change the set points, and to complete any firmware updates required.

IntelliDox can be used as a single dock, or it can be grouped with up to four other IntelliDox stations. Each independent docking station as a dedicated LCD screen, pump, and keypad, but shares calibration gas and power.

Windows-Based Software

To provide full compliance, the Honeywell SafetySuite Device Configurator software allows easy access to data, with the ability to export data from the detectors. The software makes it convenient and configure system alarm set points and to ensure all systems are up to date on the latest firmware version.

Single Button Control

The button also allows for STEL or short-term exposure limit TWA time-weighted average results. Information on the highest concentration of the tested gas is also provided over the previous 24 hours.

Visible Safety

The IntelliFlash™ system allows for the green flashing light to show the detector ass been bump tested and is compliance with monitoring requirements. The noncompliance flash, which is a red blinking light, indicates the need for a battery replacement, a bump test, or if calibration is required. This is also used to signal a detected gas event.
