The SM-2000 single module calibration station for the GX-2009 and GX-2003 portable gas monitors is a stand alone station that can calibrate, bump test, charge, and archive data without the need of a computer to operate. The module has 4 operating modes, which include bump test only, % volume methane bump/calibration (for the GX-2003), calibration only, and bump with automatic calibration (if the bump test fails). The SM-2000 modules are capable of storing up to 200 bump test or calibration records. To download the data each module includes a 1 GB USB flash drive. Also included is a software package to import the data from the USB drive and manage records by serial #, user ID, or station ID. The Single Channel Wall Mount Controller Beacon 110 Model features a space efficient weatherproof wall mounting fiberglass NEMA 4X enclosure with a hinged cover that is also chemical resistant. The model is shipped with an easy to install wall mounting kit. The Beacon 110 long life gas sensors will typically last for over 2 years. The model has a built in audible alarm of over 94 dB, a visual alert system with 4 flashing LED lights, and 2 programmable alarm levels. e 10 amp rated relay contacts allow users to directly control the audible alarm system. The M2 Stand Alone Transmitter is operational with or without a controller and is available in two forms: explosion proof and non-explosion proof. The advanced technology transmitter can function as an independent standalone system or as part of an integrated detection and transmission system. Advanced sensor technology

The state of the art sensors are long lasting with a lifespan typically over two years. Sensor construction is rated Class I, Division 1 groups B, C, and D for flammables, CO, H2S, O2, and CO2. The sensors are rated Class I, Division 2 for all other toxic gases. Depending on the gas, the sensors will operate through a catalytic, galvanic cell, electrochemical, or infrared design. The plug in nature of the sensors allows for a quick and tool free onsite replacement.

Specifications

Each transmitter features 2 to 3 years of life with normal service. The explosion proof LEL H2 specific transmitter has 3 to 5 years with normal service, and the explosion proof carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrocarbons feature over 5 years of life with normal service. The explosion proof transmitters are also water repellant. Each device is approximately 8.5 H x 5.2 W x 4.5 D and features an alphanumeric display with a backlight. The screen displays 8 characters per line with 2 lines for gas concentration readouts.

The RKI direct connect series gas sensors are highly reliable and very cost effective for the detection of common gas hazards. The direct connect series are available for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO for a variety of RKI's controllers. All sensors are explosion-proof with flame arrestors, and approved for use in hazardous locations.

The tri-sensor head can be used either indoors or outdoors. The flame arrestors for the explosion-proof versions utilize a patented coating which make them water repellent. Also, splash guards are available for use in very wet environments.

The unique tri-sensor design integrates 3 sensors into one explosion proof housing. This results in significant savings with installation and wiring cost versus traditional single sensor enclosures. Only one conduit needs to be run to the sensors.

The tri-sensor head is designed to exclusively interface with the RKI Beacon 410 controller. This 3 sensor head, used with the Beacon 410, is especially well suited for wastewater applications.

Also available in a two or four sensor version, with sensors for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO available.
