Easy to Use

The Gasman s true one button technology is an ideal and simple design. The large glove friendly button is mounted on the front of the unit for easy access and controls all of the unit s programmable features. Also on the front, the Gasman s easy to read backlit LCD screen indicates gas readings and the battery status. The simple screen provides a clear indication of the unit s operation status. It will also alert the user 30 days in advance of when a calibration test is due. With a simple and intuitive design, Crowcon has produced a gas detector that reduces the complexities of workplace safety, and ensures workers in a straightforward manner that their equipment is on and operational.

Triple Alarm System

This portable single gas detection system features a triple alarm system that is sure to alert the user and anyone in the vicinity. The visible alarm utilizes a dual red and blue flashing LED light, and the unit houses an internal vibrating alert system. These two indicators allow for visual recognition in loud environments and working conditions. The alarm system also features a programmable audible alarm at 95 decibels. The unit is capable of a variety of alarm tones, and users can select which tone may be best for the individual workplace setting. The triple alarm system with multiple sensory indicators is sure to be noticed in almost any work environment.

Specifications

The Gasman single gas monitor is lightweight and compact, weighing less than 135 grams and with dimensions of 90 x 48 x 24 mm. The unit is available with a wide variety of gas sensors which feature various detection and alarm levels. The unit also features a quick response time of 20 seconds for flammable and toxic gases or 10 seconds for oxygen. Its datalogging feature has approximately 900 hours of storage and all events are time stamped. The Xgard series of fixed point gas detectors is incredibly durable and reliable. The casings and materials, including weatherproof caps, are designed to protect the equipment from the harshest environments. With quick and easy installation and maintenance, the Xgard series is able to keep costs at a minimum. The replacement sensors, for example, are simple to replace by merely plugging them in. The replacement parts are also readily available and compatible with all Xgard models, thereby reducing the amount of required spare parts that are stored in the facility. Additionally, the sensors have two times the typical life spans of similar sensors in the industry. With a 2 year life span, worksites can expect to cut their sensor replacement costs in half. For worksites that require slightly more customization, Crowcon offers compatible accessories for the Xgard series such as sampling applications, remote gassing applications, spray deflectors, sun shields, weatherproof caps, collector cones, flow adapter, and accessories adapter.

The PS200 is a rugged, easy to use portable multi-gas detector ideal for use in confined spaces and hotworks. Both lightweight and durable the instrument monitors and displays up to four hazardous gas conditions simultaneously using catalytic bead sensor technology for a wide range of combustible gases, and electrochemical sensors for carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and oxygen deficiency. Operator interface and calibration are intuitive and easy by toggling between simple one-button functions. During hazardous conditions users are alerted via three alarm functions: vibration, red flashing LEDs, and audible buzzer. To ensure the highest level of personal safety, the PS200 is also fitted with an optional man down/motion sensor that activates alarms if the instrument is not moved at a pre-set time. The instrument is also fitted with an optional built in remote sampling pump making it ideal for use in confined spaces. The PS200 features a screen backlight that can be manually switched on in poor lighting conditions.
