Advanced connectivity

The D-ReX comes with a wide variety of communication interfaces: Choose between analog, industry standard 4-20 mA, digital RS-485 interface (Modbus/RTU), Ethernet (Modbus/TCP) and LonWorks (optional) for signal transmission. The Bluetooth option enables wireless connectivity. S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The RKI S2 Sensors and Transmitters use state of the art sensor technology to detect common gas hazards. These sensors also have flame arrestors and are approved for use in hazardous environments. The oxygen, H2S, CO, and CO2 sensors are available in non-explosion proof models. The sensors provide highly specific and quick detection and are long lasting. The sensors can be quickly replaced while on the field and do not require any tools.

Explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The explosion proof sensors use a variety of detection mechanisms including catalytic for LEL and LEL- H2 specific; metal oxide semiconductor for hydrogen; galvanic cell technology for oxygen; electrochemical for hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide; and infrared for carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrocarbons. A hydrogen specific sensor transmitter is not available. Each of these detection methods come with their own measuring range specifications and response times varying from 20 seconds to 45 seconds. These sensors are stainless steel and are housed in a cast aluminum explosion proof J-Box (a stainless steel J-Box is also available).

Non-explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The non-explosion proof sensors use galvanic cells for oxygen detection; electrochemical technology for hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, and other toxics; and infrared technology for carbon dioxide detection. The response times vary between 20 seconds and 60 seconds depending on the targeted gas, and the measuring ranges vary as well. These sensors are plastic or aluminum and housed in an explosion proof J-Box.

Accessories

The S2 Sensor/Transmitter has numerous accessories available to meet the individual workplace's needs. The Ventis® Slide-on Pump

The Ventis® Slide-on Pump is ideally suited for operators who wear their gas monitors primarily for personal protection but occasionally require a pump for confined space entries. Available in black or safety orange and powered by its own battery, the slide-on pump is compatible with the Ventis MX4 and Ventis® Pro5 Multi-Gas Monitor.

Draeger's X-am® 2500 accurately detects O₂, CO, NO₂, SO₂ and H₂S and is the only 1 4 gas monitor you need in industrial and refinery applications. The X-am® 2500 combines reliable sensor technology with long battery life and intuitive operation in an instrument that defines safety. It is approved for most markets including mining, oil & gas, chemical, fire and hazardous response, government and many other applications.

Matrix display

The X-am 2500 has a large, easy to read, liquid-crystal display. All gas readings are shown simultaneously and resize automatically depending on the number of sensors installed. When a gas alarm occurs, the reading for the sensor in alarm will be highlighted and will alternate with the alarm level indication of A1 or A2.

High capacity battery

The Draeger X-am 2500 can operate for more than 12 hours with either alkaline batteries or with rechargeable NiMH batteries. Depending on the requirements, the batteries can be charged either in the workshop or in a vehicle. Operating time without an Ex sensor installed is typically more than 250 hours.

X-dock compatibility

The X-am 2500 is compatible with Draeger's X-dock testing and calibration station. X-dock is Draeger's new solution for efficient maintenance and comprehensive equipment management. Used for functional testing and complete documentation, X-dock can complete bump tests in 8 to 15 seconds with more than 40% less gas consumption than competitive using several 500 — 550 mL/min of gas flow. The X-am 2500 is also compatible with the Draeger Bump Test Station.

Long-lasting, reliable sensor technology

The innovative, catalytic Ex sensor has a high degree of drift stability with a high resistance to silicone and hydrogen sulfide. The sensor boasts an expected service life of more than five years and is extremely sensitive to flammable gases and vapors. Further, the X-am 2500 is approved for measuring from methane to nonane, according to IEC/EN 60079-29-1.

Zone 0 approved

The Draeger X-am 2500 has Ex approval for zone 0 for user safety in areas subject to explosion hazard. Additionally, it is not sensitive to electromagnetic radiation, e.g. from wireless devices and is water and dust resistant in accordance with protection class IP 67.

Diffusion or pump

An optional external pump with a hose up to 45 m / 147 ft long is available for use in tanks and shafts or when searching for leaks. The switch from diffusion to pump operation can be handled quickly and easily without tools or screws.

Ergonomic and robust

The Draeger X-am 2500 is comfortably worn thanks to its low weight and ergonomic design and gas can enter the unit from above and from the front—even if the instrument is inside a pocket or if the front gas entry is accidentally covered.

The practical two button control panel and easy menu navigation allow for intuitive operation while the integrated protective rubber coating and sensors not sensitive to shock provide additional safety in case of impacts or vibrations.

Peak value functionality

The X-am 2500 can store the highest gas readings for the Ex and toxic gas sensors and the lowest reading for the O₂ sensor. These readings can be easily reset after a gas exposure without having to turn the monitor off and on.

1X-dock bump test stated times are typical results; stated gas consumption is based upon calibration gas flow of 0.3 L /minute using X-dock for bump test.

The Pyxis SP-710 and SP-710B are handheld multimeter units capable of measuring up to 6 key water treatment parameters simultaneously. SP-710 offers pH, Conductivity, PTSA, Temperature, ORP and a Free/Total Chlorine Colorimeter uniquely designed as a multimeter for cooling water applications. The SP-710B offers pH, Conductivity, PTSA, Temperature, ORP and Fluorescein for boiler water applications. Both units offer a Bluetooth enabled and fully potted, battery powered pH/ORP module, eliminating water and KCl contamination to the unit processor. The new module design offers wireless communication to the base SP710/B unit and can also be viewed via the uPyxis APP for smartphone and/or our full scale SP-910 Colorimeter.

The SP710/B is fully waterproof and industrialized and available with an optional body case bump guard with bet clip for ease of access and protection. Pyxis has integrated a fully molded screen to ensure a water proof seal under a pressurized manufacturing environment. The device itself also contains an integrated humidity sensor to ensure a water-free electronic environment.
