2619407 Bacteria Tests: Hach Nitrifying Bacteria 7 pk by AquaPhoenix

BART biodetectors are excellent diagnostic tools to help identify the presence and activity of various bacteria.

Nitrifying bacteria recycle organic nitrogenous materials from ammonium (the endpoint for the decomposition of proteins) to nitrates. In water, aggressive nitrifiers can produce high concentrations of nitrates. Nitrates in water can be a potential health risk. Aggressive nitrifying bacteria in waters may indicate the latter stages of aerobic degradation of nitrogen-rich organic matter. This can indicate that the water may have been polluted by nitrogen-rich organics from sources such as compromised septic tanks, sewage systems, industrial and hazardous waste sites and is undergoing an aerobic form of degradation.

• Simple yet effective method for monitoring the population size and/or activity of specific groups of bacteria
• Easy to use, requiring no elaborate or costly equipment and no specialized training
• Effective and affordable tests are easy to interpret and can be performed at room temperature in virtually any environment

GD-70D Series Intelligent Gas Detector

The GD-70D Series Intelligent Gas Detector is a new smart gas detection transmitter that monitors combustibles, oxygen, and a wide range of toxic gases. The unit can be used as a standalone device, integrated with other PLC systems, or integrated with RKI's Beacon series of single and multi-channel controllers. Its common platform integrates numerous detection methods and requires very little maintenance.

Exclusive Features

The plug and play intelligent sensors make for easy setup and calibration by internally retaining calibration and sensor data. This allows workers to replace sensors while in the field without the need to reprogram the equipment. For little maintenance and optimal reliability, the internal technology automatically adjusts for long-term zero and span drift. The pump flow is also self-tuning for low maintenance functioning. In general, the smart sensors use electrochemical cell detection, semiconductor detection, pyrolysis-particle detection, galvanic cell detection, and catalytic combustion detection.

The GD-70D Series features a large LCD display that easily reads all notifications and provides a color coded graph for alarm status (first and second alarms are red, and fault alarms are yellow). The LCD screen displays the pyrolyzer connection, gas concentration, detection unit of measurement, the detected gas, the maintenance status, sensor identification, the flow rate, a graph of gas concentration, error codes, and alarm points. All operational settings are completely user adjustable from the front panel. The unit also has a self-diagnosing function which detects sensor trouble and system failure. The Intelligent Gas Detector has a convenient troubleshoot feature through its firmware. This allows users to investigate and resolve their own equipment issues while minimizing maintenance costs.

Specifications

The Intelligent Gas Detector is a convenient size for workplace and wall space efficiency with dimensions of 2.8 D x 4.7 H x 5.9 D and weighs approximately 2 pounds. It can be mounted to a wall easily with a base plate and 2 or 3 screws. Sensor replacements and pump replacements can be performed quick and easily without tools.

CC22-770-DM CC 22 Series Fixed Transmitter with Xylene (C₈H₁₀) Sensor, 0 - 100% LEL Range, Display / Modbus by GfG

Are you looking for an innovative and cost-effective transmitter for combustible gases, but without the need for explosion protection? Then a GfG 22 series transmitter is the right choice.

Time-proven and innovative

The CC 22 works according to the heat of reaction principle, a proven method for measuring combustible gases. The transmitters are fitted with high-performance electronics for voltage stabilization, processing of readings, and temperature compensation. Follow-up costs are minimized thanks to the long lifespan of the sensors.

Universal signal transmission

Either an analog or digital output signal can be transmitted by the CC 22 by means of a Modbus interface. Due to the different types of signal transmission, a 22 series transmitter can be connected to almost any gas detection system, also as an extra measuring point or as a replacement transmitter on existing systems.

The embedded software of the CC 22 linearises the measuring signal and compensates for the effects of temperature. As a result, correct readings are transmitted even with weather related fluctuations in temperature. The software allows problems to be detected, and the Modbus version also indicates any required service or maintenance work.

Weather protection

A weatherproof housing not only protects transmitters against exposure to wind and weather, but also against contamination and excessive temperatures caused by direct sunlight.

Optional colored graphic display

The clear graphic display of the CC 22 is self explanatory and allows you to read off the current status and other important information with ease. The display enables you to navigate effortlessly through the unit's concise menu and to change settings or even calibrate, depending on your user authorization. In the event of an alarm, the display will turn red.

Operation buttons

The buttons on the transmitter allow the unit to be calibrated and settings to be adjusted through the menu as needed.

The application areas of the dust and water-protected structure range from production and storage areas to disposal sites, biogas plants, mines and oil rigs.
