0699 6447/17 6447 Compressed Air Meter by Testo

The compressed air counters testo 6441 to testo 6444 are designed for the measurement, monitoring and recording of compressed air consumption, and therefore also for the determination of leakages in compressed air systems, consumption-based allocation of costs and the implementation of peak load management. The compressed air counters testo 6441 to testo 6444 record norm volume flow according to the calorimetric principle, which means the measurement procedure is independent of the process pressure and does not cause a permanent pressure drop.

The version testo 6447 offers everything the testo 6446 provides, in addition the removal of the probe under pressure is possible (patented screw fitting). The larger nominal values refer especially to important compressed air pipelines, often the main supply line after preparation.

• Measurement of norm volume flow in the measuring range 6.7 to 27500 m³/h (DN65 to DN350 or 21/2"-10")
• Exchangeable fitting: Probe removal under pressure possible (testo 6447 only)
• Material selectable between galvanized steel and stainless steel
• Highest flexibility thanks to different signal outputs: Analog output 4 to 20 mA (4-wire), Pulse output, 2 switch outputs (parameterizable: consumption or volume flow-dependent, opener, closer, hysteresis, window)
• Built-in totalizer, even without additional analysis unit
• Operating menu with LED display
• Cleanable sensor

Xgard Gas Detectors

Crowcon is a global leader in designing and manufacturing gas detection technology and equipment. The company has been in operation for over 40 years and is consistently building upon its products. By integrating modern technology with the demands of the modern workplace, Crowcon has developed a line of gas detection devices and monitors that lead the competition. The Xgard range of gas detectors is a product of Crowcon s successful integration and technological advancements. With a wide range of sensor types and available accessories, the Xgard series is suitable for all worksites and is customizable enough to fit any needs.

Tough and reliable

The Xgard series of fixed point gas detectors is incredibly durable and reliable. The casings and materials, including weatherproof caps, are designed to protect the equipment from the harshest environments. The detectors are made from a variety of materials depending on the model: glass reinforced nylon, aluminum with polyester coating, and 316 stainless steel.

Variety of sensors

The fixed point gas detector offers a wide range of sensors for to suite almost all applications. The Xgard range of gas detectors is available in three models to meet varying worksite needs: flameproof, intrinsically safe, and safe area formats. Additionally, Xgard offers different types of fixed point gas detectors within these three models:

• Xgard Type 1- Intrinsically safe toxic and oxygen gas detectors
• Xgard Type 2- Flameproof toxic and oxygen gas detectors
• Xgard Type 3- Flameproof flammable gas detector
• Xgard Type 4- Flameproof high temperature flammable gas detector
• Xgard Type 5- Flameproof flammable gas detector with 4-20mA output
• Xgard Type 6- Flameproof thermal conductivity type gas detector
• Xsafe- Safe area flammable gas detector

Cost efficient and highly effective

With quick and easy installation and maintenance, the Xgard series is able to keep costs at a minimum. The replacement sensors, for example, are simple to replace by merely plugging them in. The replacement parts are also readily available and compatible with all Xgard models, thereby reducing the amount of required spare parts that are stored in the facility. Additionally, the sensors have two times the typical life spans of similar sensors in the industry. With a 2 year life span, worksites can expect to cut their sensor replacement costs in half. For worksites that require slightly more customization, Crowcon offers compatible accessories for the Xgard series such as sampling applications, remote gassing applications, spray deflectors, sun shields, weatherproof caps, collector cones, flow adapter, and accessories adapter.

Xgard also has flexible installation options. The unit is designed for either wall or ceiling mounts, and users will not need to purchase additional equipment for mounting. For more complex installation needs, users can purchase accessories.

Specifications

Each model is approximately the same size with dimensions of 6.1 x 6.5 x 4.3 inches and weighing approximately 1 or 2 pounds. The battery type, electrical output, and power requirements vary based on the sensor type. For a complete listing of gas sensors, types, and individual specifications, please see the product specifications listing.

2801-13-002 CC 28 Fixed Gas Transmitter with Gas Optimized Catalytic Sensor 0-100% LEL (MK 208-1), Toluene (C7H8), Display by GfG

Superior technology

In areas where combustible gas or vapor hazards may exist, GfG s new CC 28 combustible transmitter is the perfect choice for reliable area monitoring. With its proven design, this ATEX certified transmitter offers an integrated explosion-proof buzzer and bright-alarm LEDs for reliable warning of combustible gas hazards (even in hazardous locations). This superior design provides warnings for immediate personnel, and ensures entire plant safety.

Easy handling

Smart sensor technology allows easy installation. Sensor replacement takes only a few seconds-simply plug in the sensor. User adjustments are performed at the transmitter with simple touch keys, or with the optional remote control interface (one person calibration).

RC2 remote control

Several combustible gases are lighter than air. With the transmitter mounted close to the ceiling, calibration can be difficult. The remote control for the CC 28 allows you to perform calibration or zero adjustments without the need of a ladder or lift. A flexible cable connects the remote control to the transmitter and displays the same reading as the display on the transmitter. With the remote control inspection, service and calibration can be performed easily by one person.

The sensor and the integrated temperature compensation provide highest measurement accuracy.

Low maintenance requirements and long sensor life reduce your cost of ownership. Just sign a service contract and don t worry about any problems. We will service your system at regular intervals.

Models

Model CC 28D allows you to read the gas concentration both at the transmitter and at the GMA controller. With the RC2 remote control - the CC 28 is easy to use and to operate even if it is mounted at the ceiling.
