Plug-and-play gas detection

With flexible features and options, the MIDAS Gas Detector works right out of the box and configures easily to meet your needs. Each plug-and-play sensor cartridge is pre-calibrated, so it's ready when you are. That means longer sensor life, quick and easy replacement, and no operator error due to incorrect or depleted sensors.

The standard power supply and communications capabilities include three onboard relays, 0-22 mA analog output and Modbus/TCP Ethernet digital outputs. Plus, the MIDAS Gas Detector includes the innovative Power over Ethernet (PoE) protocol - a single Ethernet connection for all power, control and communication requirements. Thanks to the MIDAS architecture, cost-effective integration with PLC and Fieldbus systems is greatly simplified.

MIDAS® Pyrolyzer

Offered as an option, the MIDAS Pyrolyzer allows for the detection of NF₃ and other CxFy gases. Cost of ownership is low, as the Pyrolyzer has a replaceable heater assembly with a lifespan of greater than two years. Even more, thanks to our new proprietary catalyst to improve efficiency in gas conversion, the Pyrolyzer delivers automatic flow control, temperature control, and fast and accurate performance. Additionally, the Pyrolyzer can run from a MIDAS Gas Detector that s powered by either PoE or 24 VDC.

The Two Channel Wall Mount Controller Beacon 200 Model utilizes microprocessors and state of the art technology to ensure accurate gas detection and alert those nearby of atmospheric conditions. Two Channel Wall Mount Controller Beacon 200 Model Features

The unit features simultaneous atmospheric condition readout on 2 channels with 2 alarm levels per channel and a built in audible alarm system. The unit also houses 4-20 mA outputs and accepts any 4-20 mA transmitter input (24 VDC). The unit can also be wired with a variety of RKI Instrument sensors.

The Two Channel Wall Mount Controller Beacon 200 Model is housed in a wall mounting grey polycarbonate casing with a hinged cover. The NEMA 4X enclosure is waterproof, chemical resistant, and weather resistant ensuring maximum protection against potential environmental hazards that could damage safety equipment. It is user-friendly with 4 push buttons for setup, programming, and calibration. The unit also features 1 external push button for alarm reset.

The alarm system features an audible and visual alert system. The built-in audible alarm uses a 94 dB alert system, and the visual alerts feature 4 ultra-bright LED lights on the front cover. The alarms will alert users about potentially dangerous atmospheric conditions in addition to potential unit malfunctions.

Beacon 200 Model Specifications

The Two Channel Wall Mount Controller Beacon 200 Model features a backlit alphanumeric display that is easy to read and practical with 20 characters per line and a 4 line capacity. The wall mounted controller is approximately 10.5 H x 8.5 W x 6.3 D and is powered by 115 VAC or 24 VDC standard with an optional 230 VAC and an available battery backup option. The Eagle One to Six Gas Portable Monitor is available with a wide variety of exclusive features.
