SXL-2X Optical Liquid Sensor, DRY-ON (Latching) by Agrowtek

Electronic optical liquid sensors are durable, have no moving parts and are easy to maintain. SXL sensors can detect fluid levels in tanks, flow in pipes, or leaks in drip pans when liquid touches the sensor tip. Wide voltage range and high current capacity makes the SXL sensor practical for TTL logic, industrial PLC or direct relay control applications. 1/4" NPT threading and removable wiring terminal block with pin-out cast into the hex head makes installation or replacement fast and simple. When the output is energized a red LED illuminates the sensor body giving a visual status indication. Available in 'wet-on' and 'dry-on' configurations, or PWM output for applications requiring error indication and failure monitoring. Other intelligent functions include "stable state" switching to detect splashing, one-second output debounce and error indication from infrared flooding.

RKI Instrument's model SD-1 Series smart combustible gas, toxic gas, oxygen, and organic vapor detector/transmitter is a robust and reliable explosion proof design for detecting LEL and ppm levels of hazardous atmospheres. In addition to measuring the common %LEL levels of methane, hexane and isobutane, for example, the SD-1 Series also has the capability of measuring a wide variety of toxic organic compounds in a PPM range such as acrylonitrile, ethylene oxide, n-methyl pyrolidone, methylene chloride and many others. This gives the SD-1 Series a unique niche in RKI's gas detector line-up. The SD-1 has an ATEX/IECEX approval for the explosion class ExdIICT5 and has an IP-65/67 ingress protection rating.

The SD-1 has a 4-20mA signal output as well as relay contacts for interfacing with other control systems or monitoring facilities. The RKI direct connect series gas sensors are highly reliable and very cost effective for the detection of common gas hazards. The direct connect series are available for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO for a variety of RKI's controllers. All sensors are explosion-proof with flame arrestors, and approved for use in hazardous locations.

The tri-sensor head can be used either indoors or outdoors. The flame arrestors for the explosion-proof versions utilize a patented coating which make them water repellent. Also, splash guards are available for use in very wet environments.

The unique tri-sensor design integrates 3 sensors into one explosion proof housing. This results in significant savings with installation and wiring cost versus traditional single sensor enclosures. Only one conduit needs to be run to the sensors.

The tri-sensor head is designed to exclusively interface with the RKI Beacon 410 controller. This 3 sensor head, used with the Beacon 410, is especially well suited for wastewater applications.

Also available in a two or four sensor version, with sensors for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO available.
