Easy handling

Smart sensor technology allows easy installation. Sensor replacement takes only a few seconds-simply plug in the sensor. User adjustments are performed at the transmitter with simple touch keys, or with the optional remote control interface (one person calibration).

RC2 remote control

Several combustible gases are lighter than air. With the transmitter mounted close to the ceiling, calibration can be difficult. The remote control for the CC 28 allows you to perform calibration or zero adjustments without the need of a ladder or lift. A flexible cable connects the remote control to the transmitter and displays the same reading as the display on the transmitter. With the remote control inspection,service and calibration can be performed easily by one person.

The sensor and the integrated temperature compensation provide highest measurement accuracy.

The gas detector is encased in a durable solid polycarbonate case with a rubber over mold for easy handling. The unit features dual audible alarms at 92 decibels and front and side ultra-bright LED visual alarms to ensure that the user and those nearby are always notified of possible hazardous conditions. For easy interpretation, the detector has an easy to read status bar and large LCD display that notifies users of the device s functionality and calibration due date. Automatic Docking Station

When developing the PhD6 Multigas Detector, product developers also created an automatic docking station (Biosystems IQ6 Express Dock) to be fully compatible with the detector. G460 Multi-Gas Detector

The G460 Multi-Gas Detector is a compact and robust system with the capabilities of detecting up to six different gases and simultaneously displaying the readings. The portable detector features a user friendly and intuitive interface to simplify the day to day operations.

Ease of Use

For typical daily operations, the G460 Multi-Gas Detector operates with a single button. The complete user interface can provide access to advanced setup options with three buttons. The unit also features easy calibration operation. Simply attach the calibration adapter and apply gas. The G460 will automatically perform the appropriate adjustments. The detector will then store the dates of the three most recent calibrations for each sensor.

The G460 also features a large easy to read tricolor display which uses a color code to indicate the alarm severity. From green to orange to red, the tricolor display is intuitive and incredibly user friendly. The display feature can also flip or zoom with the touch of a button. The G460 multi-faceted alarm system also includes an ultra loud audible buzzer at 103 dB, a standard vibration mechanism, and 360 bright LED alerts (the LED alerts can also be equipped to function as flashlights). This multi-faceted system is sure to alert users and those nearby of the potential hazardous conditions. For smooth and continuous operations, the G460 Multi-Gas Detector uses interchangeable alkaline and rechargeable battery packs that provide up to 25 hours of continuous operation. G460 Multi-Gas Detector Features

The G460 Multi-Gas Detector features a motorized pump with a built-in diffusion or sample draw mode switch. The hose is easily attachable and can draw from 100 feet away. The hose is powered by its own battery pack that provides 20 hours of continuous operation. The multi-gas detector also features the widest range of sensors on the market. The compatible long lasting (and interchangeable) smart sensors include LEL, SO2, O2, H2, H2S, NO, CO, O3, HF, NH3, CIO2, CI2, PH3, ETO, HCN, and NO2. Users can purchase additional sensors to help customize the unit such as infrared sensors for the measurement of CO2 and photoionization sensors for volatile organic chemical hazards. The G460 has standard data logging capabilities that store up to 55 hours of the most recent activities. Alarm activations gas thresholds and stored permanently in the internal memory. Employers can download all internal information to generate reports and monitor results.

The RKI direct connect series gas sensors are highly reliable and very cost effective for the detection of common gas hazards. The direct connect series are available for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO for a variety of RKI's controllers. All sensors are explosion-proof with flame arrestors, and approved for use in hazardous locations.

The tri-sensor head can be used either indoors or outdoors. The flame arrestors for the explosion-proof versions utilize a patented coating which make them water repellent. Also, splash guards are available for use in very wet environments.

The unique tri-sensor design integrates 3 sensors into one explosion proof housing. This results in significant savings with installation and wiring cost versus traditional single sensor enclosures. Only one conduit needs to be run to the sensors.

The tri-sensor head is designed to exclusively interface with the RKI Beacon 410 controller. This 3 sensor head, used with the Beacon 410, is especially well suited for wastewater applications.

Also available in a two or four sensor version, with sensors for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO available.
