GasAlertMicro 5 Series models

This multi-gas monitor series is available in several models: the standard toxic gas model, a PID model for detection of VOCs, or an IR model for CO2 detection. The unit accurately and reliably identifies up to five atmospheric hazards simultaneously and can rapidly switch from diffusion mode to the optional integrated pump.

Each model of GasAlertMicro 5 Series has several distinct features. With the GasAlertMicro 5 Series, the standard toxic gas model, users can monitor several standard gases with a plug in electrochemical cell sensor and catalytic cell sensor and a typical battery life of 20 hours (AA Alkaline rechargeable). The GasAlertMicro 5 PID is standard with several gas detections, a plug in electrochemical cell sensor and photoionization detector, and a battery life of approximately 15 hours (AA Alkaline rechargeable). Finally, the GasAlertMicro 5 IR features specific gas detection ranges, a plug in electrochemical cell sensor, a catalytic cell sensor, and an infrared sensor for carbon dioxide monitoring. With quick and easy installation and maintenance, the Xgard series is able to keep costs at a minimum. The replacement sensors, for example, are simple to replace by merely plugging them in. The replacement parts are also readily available and compatible with all Xgard models, thereby reducing the amount of required spare parts that are stored in the facility. Additionally, the sensors have two times the typical life spans of similar sensors in the industry. With a 2 year life span, worksites can expect to cut their sensor replacement costs in half. For worksites that require slightly more customization, Crowcon offers compatible accessories for the Xgard series such as sampling applications, remote gassing applications, spray deflectors, sun shields, weatherproof caps, collector cones, flow adapter, and accessories adapter.

To fit every environment, there are three versions available. All versions include three electrochemical and one infrared sensor. Depending on the version, the G999 features a catalytic combustion (CC) sensor, a combined CC/semiconductor sensor, a PID sensor or a fourth electrochemical sensor. The all new GDC-150 transmitter from Bacharach offers detection and protection for a wide range of hazards including toxic gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen depletion, combustible gases, refrigerant leaks and total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs). Analog interfaces allow the transmitter to be connected back to Bacharach's GDA Series of controllers (or any other gas detection controller), building management systems or control systems. The GDC-150 features 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC linear output signals, an automatic thermal resetting fuse, RoHS compliant circuit boards and LED indicators for power and open loop.

The onboard alarm LED's indicate when alarm threshold values are exceeded. The unit can be ordered with an optional alpha numeric LED display that shows gas concentrations in real time while alarm relays alert personnel of potential dangers, avoiding incidents and potential hazards.
