Easy to Use

The Gasman s true one button technology is an ideal and simple design. The large glove friendly button is mounted on the front of the unit for easy access and controls all of the unit s programmable features. Also on the front, the Gasman s easy to read backlit LCD screen indicates gas readings and the battery status. The simple screen provides a clear indication of the unit s operation status. It will also alert the user 30 days in advance of when a calibration test is due. With a simple and intuitive design, Crowcon has produced a gas detector that reduces the complexities of workplace safety, and ensures workers in a straightforward manner that their equipment is on and operational.

Triple Alarm System

This portable single gas detection system features a triple alarm system that is sure to alert the user and anyone in the vicinity. The visible alarm utilizes a dual red and blue flashing LED light, and the unit houses an internal vibrating alert system. These two indicators allow for visual recognition in loud environments and working conditions. The alarm system also features a programmable audible alarm at 95 decibels. The unit is capable of a variety of alarm tones, and users can select which tone may be best for the individual workplace setting. The triple alarm system with multiple sensory indicators is sure to be noticed in almost any work environment.

Specifications

The Gasman single gas monitor is lightweight and compact, weighing less than 135 grams and with dimensions of 90 x 48 x 24 mm. The unit is available with a wide variety of gas sensors which feature various detection and alarm levels. The unit also features a quick response time of 20 seconds for flammable and toxic gases or 10 seconds for oxygen. Its datalogging feature has approximately 900 hours of storage and all events are time stamped. The battery life for this unit is incredible with 12 hours of runtime on a Rechargeable battery battery or up to 2 years on a non-Rechargeable battery.

The Single Gas Clip-On Personal Monitor by RKI Instruments is a top of the line gas detection system that clips easily into place on a belt, pocket, helmet, or shirt. Its sensor detects the presence of four gases (oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and combustible gas) and immediately alerts the user and those nearby. The device is small enough to be highly portable and is available at a very affordable price.

The Single Gas Clip-On Personal Monitor is available in four different models, each of which have been deemed safe for workplace use by CSA to U.S. and Canadian Standards for Class I, Division I, Groups A, B, C, and D atmospheres.

Triple Alarm System

When potentially hazardous atmospheric conditions have been detected, the Single Gas Clip-On Personal Monitor will activate its triple alarm system. The triple alarm is designed to alert the user and everyone within the vicinity. Once the alarm is activated, the backlight will turn on, the LED lights will flash, the audible alert will initiative, and the device will being to vibrate. The triple system is designed to be noticeable during a variety of working conditions when a user may not have full use of senses.

In addition to hazardous atmospheric conditions, the device will alert users when the battery is low, the sensors are malfunctioning, and more.

Specifications

The Single Gas Clip-On Personal Monitor has a response time of 20 seconds for oxygen levels and 30 seconds for carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and combustible gas. The unit is powered by alkaline dry cell batteries (2 AAA batteries) with a battery life of over 3,000 hours (except model GP-01 which has a battery life of 16 hours). The unit is also equipped with a Peak hold function and STEL & TWA function. Its pocket size dimensions (1.4 W x 4.1 H x 0.8 D) and light weight (3.5 ounces) renders the device highly portable.
