Testo is the only manufacturer providing a solution the problem of measuring equally easily and accurately at swirl outlets. The innovative volume flow straightener testovent 417 supports you perfectly in flow velocity measurement at swirl outlets. The volume flow straightener allows redirection of the swirling flow to an almost uniform flow which can then be reliably recorded with a vane anemometer or vane probes. Measurements at swirl outlets without the volume flow straightener lead to lower or higher measurement results, depending on the flow direction in which the swirl impacts onto the vane.

The volume flow straightener is used in combination with the optional measurement funnel testovent 417 and the optional vane anemometer testo 417 or the vane probes (Ø 100mm) of testo 435, testo 440 and testo 480.

The air flow at swirl outlets is subject to major turbulence. As a result, it is very difficult to measure the volume flow correctly at these outlets using only a vane anemometer and funnels for the measurement. Higher or lower measurement results are generated depending on the flow direction in which the swirl hits the vane. This means that the ventilation system cannot be optimally adjusted.

Testo is the only manufacturer to offer a solution which enables you to take simple, precise measurements at swirl outlets. In conjunction with a funnel, the patented volume flow straightener testovent 417 offers you ideal assistance in measuring the volume flow at swirl outlets. The volume flow straightener makes it possible to change the turbulent flow to an almost uniform flow, which can then be reliably recorded using an optional vane anemometer.

In this set you get the testovent 417 volume flow straightener plus two funnels for ventilation grilles and plate outlets (testovent 417 funnel set). The funnels and the flow straightener can be conveniently transported in the practical case.

To measure the volume flow, you will also need a compatible vane anemometer, which you can order separately for example, the testo 417 vane anemometer or the vane probes (Ø 100 mm) for the testo 435 and testo 480.

Valve positioners for all manifolds currently on the market are subject to mechanical wear. Use the valve replacement kit to get your digital manifold from Testo working again really quickly.

Replacing the valve positioners is really easy and can be carried out independently on site. With the valve replacement kit, you can replace two valve positioners - on the high pressure and low pressure side or at the two middle connections on the digital manifold.
