Some gas monitoring requirements are basic but important. The RKI M-Series transmitter is a highly reliable and very cost-effective 4-20 mA transmitter for the detection of carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide. This transmitter operates from a 24 VDC (11 VDC to 30 VDC) power source and provides a 4 20 mA output signal, which can be connected to a wide variety of RKI or third party controllers. The M-Series transmitters are built for use in either indoor or semienclosed areas.

The electronics are protected inside a plastic enclosure to avoid damage from mechanical abuse, water, dust or corrosion. Sensors for the M-Series have a long life-span that typically last two to three years.

Field calibrations are very basic and can be completed by a single person. The zero and calibration functions for the MSeries are performed by simply adjusting potentiometers on the amplifier board.
