The SC-01 Single Toxic Gas Monitor is the latest in smart sensor technology with practical applications in refineries, chemical plants, hazmat response, semiconductor plants, and more. It is a versatile single gas detector with interchangeable sensors. The unit automatically recognizes when a sensor has been changed and automatically calibrates to the recognized sensor. The internal technology stores each sensor's configuration and activates the data once the new sensor is recognized.

What sets the SC-01 apart from its competitors is its wide range of available ESM-01 sensors including unique sensors for arsine, ammonia, carbon monoxide, chlorine, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulfide, phosphine, and sulfur dioxide. With model SP205ASC, workers can now be individually protected from potentially dangerous toxic gas leaks. These units are also used as leak checkers at pipe, pump connections. It can give an early warning indication of small leaks before they become large and potentially dangerous.

An intermittent tone sounds and an LED lamp flashes if a gas leak is detected. The tone frequency is proportional to the gas concentration, i.e., low gas concentration is signalled by a slow beep and higher gas concentration by a faster beep.
