GD-70D Series Intelligent Gas Detector

The GD-70D Series Intelligent Gas Detector is a new smart gas detection transmitter that monitors combustibles, oxygen, and a wide range of toxic gases. Exclusive Features

The plug and play intelligent sensors make for easy setup and calibration by internally retaining calibration and sensor data. This allows workers to replace sensors while in the field without the need to reprogram the equipment. For little maintenance and optimal reliability, the internal technology automatically adjusts for long-term zero and span drift. The pump flow is also self-tuning for low maintenance functioning. In general, the smart sensors use electrochemical cell detection, semiconductor detection, pyrolysis-particle detection, galvanic cell detection, and catalytic combustion detection.

The GD-70D Series features a large LCD display that easily reads all notifications and provides a color coded graph for alarm status (first and second alarms are red, and fault alarms are yellow). The LCD screen displays the pyrolyzer connection, gas concentration, detection unit of measurement, the detected gas, the maintenance status, sensor identification, the flow rate, a graph of gas concentration, error codes, and alarm points. All operational settings are completely user adjustable from the front panel. The unit also has a self-diagnosing function which detects sensor trouble and system failure. The Intelligent Gas Detector has a convenient troubleshoot feature through its firmware. This allows users to investigate and resolve their own equipment issues while minimizing maintenance costs.

The CS 21 transmitter uses the proven chemosorption detection principle for detection of toxic gases, vapors and combustibles. The rapid response of the transmitter provides opportunity to take counter measures and thereby limit damages. The long life of the sensors makes the CS 21 a low-cost solution for your detection needs. A transmitter can be continuously operated for more than 5 years.

Wall mount installation is straightforward. The distance between transmitter and controller can be greater than 500 m. A rugged aluminum casing protects the sensor and electronics from splashes of water and dirt. The transmitter must not be operated in EX-areas. For measurement of combustible gases in the LEL range the gas needs to be sampled by pump. In this case the EX-protection needs to be guaranteed with suitable external components (e.g.flame-protection).

Multiflow Regulator

The 6000 Series regulators are for use with 58 liter and 103 liter non-refillable cylinders having a C-10 (5/8 -18 UNF) inlet connection. They may also be configured for use on returnable cylinders having pressures to 2400 PSIG. These aluminum-bodied, singlestage, piston-style regulators have eight flow settings from 0.2 LPM to 6 LPM. They are compatible with non-reactive as well as reactive gas mixtures like hydrogen sulfide, nitric oxide and ammonia. 1000 PSI gauges are used for non-refillable cyclinders and 3000 PSI gauges are used for refillable cylinders.

All GfG Instrumentation RAM Instruments satisfy the requirements of OSHA rule 29 CFR 1910.134 (d) (2) (ii) for carbon monoxide monitoring. They will also monitor Grade E air, generally specified for breathing air in cylinders (SCBA).

Wall mounted filter panel option

The 25, 50 and 100 CFM panels filter out dangerous toxins from supplied air sources and ensure clean, breathable air. The threestage filter system efficiently removes particulates, oil vapors and hydrocarbons from an air supply. After filtration, the regulator sets the pressure for the respiratory equipment and the manifold assembly provides multiple outlets for airline hose quick connections. The model 8025 panel includes two user female quick connect outlets; the 8050 includes four, and the 8100 includes eight. A 1/2" FPT connection is standard on all 50 and 100 CFM panels, and a 3/8" FPT connection is standard on all 25 CFM panels.
