The hobby of amateur astronomy frequently takes the observer away from sources of AC power. After all, we are always in pursuit of the darkest skies possible, and that often means going off the grid. The most common way to power your telescope in these situations is to use a portable 12V battery pack, like the Celestron PowerTank, or to use power from your car's battery via the cigarette lighter.

The Celestron Car Battery Adapter is the accessory required for connecting any Celestron computerized telescope to a DC power supply or car battery. Plug the round post into the 12V input jack on the drive base of your telescope*, and insert the power connector into the cigarette lighter outlet in your car or on your power supply. The cord is 25 feet long, giving you plenty of reach between your telescope and 12V power source.

The barrel connector can be sued with any telescope that uses a receptacle with an outside diameter of 5.5mm and an inner diameter of 2.1mm and a "tip positive" polarity.

Signal processing

The embedded software of the CC 22 linearises the measuring signal and compensates for the effects of temperature. Weather protection

A weatherproof housing not only protects transmitters against exposure to wind and weather, but also against contamination and excessive temperatures caused by direct sunlight.

Optional colored graphic display

The clear graphic display of the CC 22 is self explanatory and allows you to read off the current status and other important information with ease. The display enables you to navigate effortlessly through the unit's concise menu and to change settings or even calibrate, depending on your user authorization. In the event of an alarm, the display will turn red.

Operation buttons

The buttons on the transmitter allow the unit to be calibrated and settings to be adjusted through the menu as needed.

Calibration and adjustment of the G222E are quite simple. All you need is the Calibration Cap for manual zero and test gas application.

If you want to read out the content of the data logger, you will need the Smart Cap, a USB connection cable and the Config Software for the G222 series instead.

The specification sheet serves as an addendum to the pH LabSpecs sheet and covers all lab pH electrodes suitable for use in hydrofluoric acid.

Specifications differences for use in hydrofluoric acid (HF) are shown in SPECIFICATIONS section below. Please note 2 major differences as compared to standard electrodes. First, pH range is 0-12 not 0-14. Second, the temperature range is 0-50 deg C.

TDS/Conductivity instruments and sensors must be calibrated together. For a single-point calibration, select the one solution that approximates the expected conductivity or ppm level of total salts. Mixed Salt standards are the most frequently used in the field to sample naturally occurring water sources, boiler feed water, or cooling tower water. Typical river water, well water, or lake water sample will contain a mixture of several different salts. Sensorex Mixed Salt standards simulate a "Natural" mixture of common salt compounds found in these sources. Sodium sulfate, sodium bicarbonate, and sodium chloride salts are blended to provide a representative value. There are certain applications where Single Salt Solutions are preferred. NaCl Solution is routinely used to calibrate instruments measuring Sea Water or brackish water samples. Reagent grade salt and high resistivity DI water is compounded for accurate results. KCI Single Salt Solution may be used with conductivity meters that read directly in Siemens or Ohms.
