71405 TrailSeeker ED 8X42 Binocular by Celestron

The 8x42 TrailSeeker ED binocular provides high-level outdoor performance-a perfect choice for avid birders, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts. TrailSeeker ED is packed with optical, mechanical, and ergonomic features that make it comparable to binoculars costing two to five times as much.

• ED objective lenses provide superior images virtually free of chromatic aberration with accurate color reproduction, increased resolution and contrast
• Fully multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission through the optical path
• Phase and dielectric coated BaK-4 prisms for vivid, true-to-life colors
• Tripod adaptable

ED Objective Lenses

Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass virtually eliminates chromatic aberration, also known as color fringing, a visual defect common in binoculars. TrailSeeker ED delivers edge-to-edge sharpness with excellent color correction and razor-sharp images.

Not all ED glass is created equal. Celestron's high quality ED glass delivers visibly brighter, sharper images compared to non-ED binoculars. The difference is especially apparent in low light conditions, such as at dawn or dusk.

Coatings and Prisms

TrailSeeker ED features fully multi-coated optics and phase- and dielectric-coated BaK-4 prisms. A binocular can be considered "fully multi-coated" when all air-to-glass surfaces are coated with multiple layers of anti-reflectivity coatings so that the maximum amount of light passes through the glass to the eye.

The prism inside TrailSeeker ED is made of high quality BaK-4 glass with both phase and dielectric coatings so that more light is reflected off the prism and diverted through the eye. Taken together, fully multi-coatings and BaK-4 prisms maximize light transmission for the brightest, most detailed images possible.

The Body

TrailSeeker ED is composed of lightweight and durable magnesium alloy. Its tough, rigid frame is coated with rubber to stand up to hard use in the field. What s more, the binocular is fully waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging of lenses. TrailSeeeker ED can stand up to even the toughest outdoor conditions.

Viewing through TrailSeeker ED is comfortable for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers alike, thanks to the durable twist-up eyecups. Twist through multiple click stops to find the position that works best for you.

Perfect for a Variety of Uses

TrailSeeker ED features a close focus of just 6.5 feet, making it perfect for viewing birds, butterflies, plants, or other nearby subjects. But this 8x42 binocular also offers the magnification needed to get great views of distance subjects, plus a wide field of view so you can easily follow them as they move. No matter how you choose to observe, this versatile binocular is an excellent all-around performer.

Ways to Observe

TrailSeeker ED includes both a neck strap and a carrying harness so you can choose the option that's most comfortable for you. It's also tripod adaptable, so you can mount it on any standard photographic tripod for extended viewing or digiscoping sessions. (Tripod adapter sold separately.) The binocular also includes a protective soft case for storage or transport.

FS20X-211-22-2 FS20X Multi-Spectrum Fire and Flame Detector, DUAL IR/UV Stainless Steel Encl. with (2) 3/4 in. NPT entries, FM, cFM for Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G; Class III by Honeywell Analytics

The FS20X is the latest generation high technology Multi Spectrum (UV/Dual IR/VIS) Fire and Flame Detector, which is part of the FSX family of advanced technology Electro-Optical Flame detectors.

Based on the foundation of the highly successful and reliable SS4 detector, the FS20X detector represents a quantum leap in integrating Infrared and Ultraviolet sensing technologies. The FS20X is a Multi-Spectrum and UV/Dual IR/VIS fire and flame detector with a proven UV solar-blind sensor. The FS20X exhibits faster false-alarm free response to fires over a wider temperature range and with a much longer detection range compared to conventional UV/IR detectors.

Conventional and older technology UV/IR detectors, using narrow band 4.3 micron IR sensors, will not respond to smoky fires or if the detector lens is contaminated with oil and other substances since both UV and 4.3 micron signals are attenuated, obscured or absorbed by thick smoke or detector lens contaminations. All UV sensors will be attenuated to some degree. Also, these old technology UV/IR detectors will not alarm to any fire if they are installed behind ordinary window glass.

Dual microprocessors provide a high level of fail-safe operation combined with fast and reliable performance. The master microprocessor performs high-speed digital sampling and signal processing calculations whilst the slave microprocessor handles various sensor data, performs communications, self-diagnostics and provides interface versatility and additional memory for storing event log and FirePic™ data. The FS20X detector has a detection range in excess of 60 m (200 feet) (very high sensitivity setting) for the detection of a 0.1m² (one square-foot) Heptane reference fire and has a cone of vision greater in volumetric coverage than most UV/IR detectors. This means fewer detectors can be used as compared to other manufacturers' detectors.

The FS20 detector using advanced patented algorithms for signal processing and fire and flame analysis is designed to alarm to all types of fires in all industrial environmental conditions. If the detector's UV signal is degraded due to heavy smoke or a contaminated lens, the FS20X's patented WideBand IR™, Near Band IR and Visible sensors will still alarm to fire, albeit at a reduced sensitivity and slower response time.

M-512342 Manning AirScan IRF9 Transmitter, Ammonia (NH3), 0-20,000 ppm, ATMOS, NEMA 1 enclosure by Honeywell Analytics

The industrial refrigeration industry is changing rapidly. The manufacture of R-22 and other HCFCs are being phased out. Influential organizations such as EPA and CARB (California Air Resources Board) are enforcing lower level monitoring requirements. Manufacturers of cooling systems are introducing new equipment that runs on 407a, 422d, 410a, HFO-1234yf, NH3 and CO2. In step with these changes, EPA fines have escalated for anyone venting ozone-depleting gases. What's your best move? Contact Honeywell Analytics to learn how to detect for these new refrigerants. With Honeywell Analytics, you can green the environment—and green your bottom line.

Honeywell Analytics Infrared monitoring solutions are designed to help your plant operate more efficiently and cost effectively. Unlike sample draw systems which take longer to pinpoint a gas leak, our diffusion sensing technology cuts downtime and the cost of expensive refrigerant replacement. Other technological advantages include flexible standalone or networkable configurations, long operating life expectancy (10+ years); fewer calibration requirements; self-monitoring SensorCheck technology; EPA compliance including newer requirements set by CARB (California Air Resources Board); and accurate, reliable response to the most common refrigerant gases used in industrial or commercial processes.
