Easy operation

The operation of the DS404 docking station couldn't be any easier. Simply put the G450 or the G460 in the dock and the system will take over from there. The DS404 automatically performs a full functional test including fresh air calibration, bump test, extensive sensor tests, alarm tests and optionally performs an automatic AutoCal® calibration.

Extensive diagnostics

The DS404 is designed to go beyond the traditional basic docking station tests and includes sensor diagnostics tests such as T50 and T90. After all, what good is a sensor that can respond to gas when it takes too long to get there? With the DS404 you can have confidence with this added level of safety.

Automatic charging

After all tests have been completed the DS404 will automatically start the charging process of the detector or you may remove and begin using it. In case the detectors battery condition is insufficient to complete a test the DS404 will charge the instrument before performing the test.

Record Keeping

A good instrument gas detection maintenance program is not complete without equally good records keeping. Whether you choose to download or maintain the records on a PC or network or your preference is to leave it to the docking station, the DS404 is the right choice.

The DS404 can retain as many as 2 million complete diagnostics in memory with maximum memory installed. That is over 50 years of data even if testing 100 detectors every single day!

The all new GDC-150 transmitter from Bacharach offers detection and protection for a wide range of hazards including toxic gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen depletion, combustible gases, refrigerant leaks and total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs). Analog interfaces allow the transmitter to be connected back to Bacharach's GDA Series of controllers (or any other gas detection controller), building management systems or control systems. The GDC-150 features 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC linear output signals, an automatic thermal resetting fuse, RoHS compliant circuit boards and LED indicators for power and open loop.

RKI is proud to introduce our Digester Gas Monitor. Gas from waste digesters contains high levels of methane, CO2, and H2S, with little to no oxygen present. The RKI gas monitor checks for all these gases on a cyclic basis. A powerful air aspirator draws a sample from up to 100 feet away. Since digester gas contains high humidity and high H2S, both of which can cause damage to sampling systems, the RKI Digester Gas Monitor is designed to handle these with no damage to the sampling system or sensors. The sample is passed through a series of dirt, dust, and moisture stopping filters, and these filters are automatically purged with fresh air at the end of each cycle.

Measurement time is just 4 minutes, taken at periodic cycles. Cycle time is selectable, with settings for cycle time of 15 minute, 1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, or 24 hours. A cycle can also be initiated anytime by pressing a button. After each cycle, the sensors and sampling system are flushed with fresh air so as to minimize corrosion caused by the high H2S content. The system is fault tolerant minimizing the possibility of expensive repairs or downtime.

System integrity is maintained at all times using a flow fail monitoring device which provides a fail alarm and relay if there is ever a problem with the flow system, such as a blockage, or if the air aspirator compressed air supply is removed or interrupted.

The system is housed in a wall mounting NEMA 4X enclosure. The gas readings can be viewed through the enclosure door clear window. Flow meters and filters are easily visible for confirmation of correct flows and operation. The RKI Digester Gas Monitor contains adjustable alarm levels for each gas, and also programmable alarm relays.
