Bacharach's new MGS-250 Infrared Refrigerant Gas Transmitter is the leader in performance and flexibility at an economical price. There are two versions available - a cost-effective broadband sensor used for gross leak detection or gas-particular versions that are even more distinct, pre-calibrated and characterized for response to specific refrigerants. Its simple-to-use interface gives the user the ability to set all parameters and outputs without opening the unit, moving jumpers, using mulitmeters or adjusting potentiometers.

The MGS-250 family is a cost effective solution for detecting a variety of refrigerants without the limitations posed by solid-state sensor technologies. The long-life, proprietary NDIR infrared sensor allows for accurate low-level leak detection (0-3,500 ppm), delivering up to 5-7 years of maintenance-free operation without the need for costly annual gas calibrations. Infrared sensing technology makes the MGS-250 immune to cross sensitivities to combustible and toxic gas as well as changes in temperature and humidity. The unit has an alpha-numeric LED display to show constant real-time readings, an on-board LED indicator for when the sensor is in an alarm state, and an audible alarm to alert personnel in the area that levels have exceeded the desired limit. An optional protective splash guard is available for use in areas with high water spray such as food and beverage facilities or chiller rooms.

To match your probe to a thermowell, first measure the distance from the probe's tip to the top of the thread (typical thread length is 0.5" for 1/2" NPT fittings). GasAlertMicro 5 Series models

This multi-gas monitor series is available in several models: the standard toxic gas model, a PID model for detection of VOCs, or an IR model for CO2 detection. The unit accurately and reliably identifies up to five atmospheric hazards simultaneously and can rapidly switch from diffusion mode to the optional integrated pump.

Each model of GasAlertMicro 5 Series has several distinct features. With the GasAlertMicro 5 Series, the standard toxic gas model, users can monitor several standard gases with a plug in electrochemical cell sensor and catalytic cell sensor and a typical battery life of 20 hours (AA Alkaline rechargeable). The GasAlertMicro 5 PID is standard with several gas detections, a plug in electrochemical cell sensor and photoionization detector, and a battery life of approximately 15 hours (AA Alkaline rechargeable). Finally, the GasAlertMicro 5 IR features specific gas detection ranges, a plug in electrochemical cell sensor, a catalytic cell sensor, and an infrared sensor for carbon dioxide monitoring. This model also has a battery life of approximately 15 and AA Alkaline rechargeable batteries. G460 Multi-Gas Detector

The G460 Multi-Gas Detector is a compact and robust system with the capabilities of detecting up to six different gases and simultaneously displaying the readings. The portable detector features a user friendly and intuitive interface to simplify the day to day operations.

Ease of Use

For typical daily operations, the G460 Multi-Gas Detector operates with a single button. The complete user interface can provide access to advanced setup options with three buttons. The unit also features easy calibration operation. Simply attach the calibration adapter and apply gas. The G460 will automatically perform the appropriate adjustments. The detector will then store the dates of the three most recent calibrations for each sensor.

The G460 also features a large easy to read tricolor display which uses a color code to indicate the alarm severity. From green to orange to red, the tricolor display is intuitive and incredibly user friendly. The display feature can also flip or zoom with the touch of a button. The G460 multi-faceted alarm system also includes an ultra loud audible buzzer at 103 dB, a standard vibration mechanism, and 360 bright LED alerts (the LED alerts can also be equipped to function as flashlights). The compatible long lasting (and interchangeable) smart sensors include LEL, SO2, O2, H2, H2S, NO, CO, O3, HF, NH3, CIO2, CI2, PH3, ETO, HCN, and NO2. Users can purchase additional sensors to help customize the unit such as infrared sensors for the measurement of CO2 and photoionization sensors for volatile organic chemical hazards. The G460 has standard data logging capabilities that store up to 55 hours of the most recent activities. Alarm activations gas thresholds and stored permanently in the internal memory.
