2811-4042-003M EC 28 Gas Transmitter with MODBUS, Ammonia (NH3), 0-200 ppm for Flash Freezers, Display / Alarm by GfG

Advanced Technology

Wherever hazards are expected, the EC 28 transmitter and GfG s proven monitoring systems are the right choice for reliable surveillance. The ATEX-certified design, an integrated, Ex-proof buzzer, and bright alarm LEDs provide the highest safety in hazardous areas by including visual and audible alarms. The gas alarm not only alerts the person in the control room of hazards, but also the person on-site.

Easy handling

Smart sensor technology allows a user to install the transmitter or to replace a sensor within a few seconds just plug the sensor into the transmitter. Adjustments are done directly at the transmitter using touch keys or with the remote control (one-person calibration).

Remote Control RC2

Ammonia and hydrogen are lighter than air. With the transmitter installed close to the ceiling, GfG can provide permanently connected cables with plugs for the remote control, which allow the user to do all adjustments without having to climb a ladder. In addition, one remote control can be used for several transmitters, which helps cut costs and increase efficiency.

The remote control display is always identical to that of the transmitter, making inspection, service, and calibration considerably simple.

The remote control reads the current gas concentration and can be used as an external display.

Integrated Alarm Saves Money on Ex-proof Alarm and Wiring!

The EC 28 D model shows the current gas concentration on-site at the display of the transmitter and also at GfG s GMA controller.

The EC 28 DAprovides additional bright alarm LEDs and a buzzer avoiding costs for a separate Ex-proof horn and an Ex-proof light. You also save money on wiring to connect the controller and alarm devices.

In combination with GfG's flexible control units, the EC 28 provides various possibilities for reliable and cost-effective gas monitoring.

SRDN22B Cool Guardian CO2: Refrigerant gas detector with IR sensor for CO2; measuring scale: 0...10,000 ppm by Seitron Americas

Cool Guardian Refrigerant Leak Detector, uses fast response time, low-temperature performance (-40..+122°C / -40..+50°F), and integrated audio and visual alarms, simplifies and facilitates compliance and safety regulations.

Modern refrigeration systems are engineered for optimal efficiency and airtight integrity. However, improper installation, unintentional damage, or mechanical wear and tear can potentially lead to dangerous gas leaks.

In this context, Cool Guardian gas transmitter serves as a vigilant guardian against unforeseen leaks, which could compromise both the environment and human health.

Applications

Selection of the appropriate gas sensor to monitor the presence of refrigerants in industrial processes, commercial cooling systems, or refrigeration facilities is crucial when it comes to fixed gas transmitters. These transmitters are designed to accurately detect and measure various refrigerant gases, providing essential data for maintaining the integrity of refrigeration systems and preventing potential leaks.

Industrial Refrigeration

Large-scale refrigeration systems in industries like food processing, pharmaceuticals, and cold storage facilities rely on refrigerant gas. Leak transmitters help detect leaks promptly, preventing environmental damage and ensuring the safety of workers.

Mechanical Rooms

Mechanical rooms can pose safety risks due to the presence of different gases. Refrigerant gas leak transmitters continuously monitor the environment for leaks, ensuring the safety of personnel working in these areas by promptly detecting any gas leaks.

Process Cooling / Chillers

Chiller systems often use refrigerants to maintain specific temperatures for industrial processes. Leak transmitters provide continuous monitoring, ensuring that any leaks are promptly detected to prevent disruptions in the cooling process.

HVAC Systems

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, and shopping malls use refrigerants. Leak transmitters aid in monitoring and detecting leaks.

Laboratories and Research Facilities

Laboratories, especially those handling sensitive materials or operating with precise temperature control, utilize refrigeration systems. Leak transmitters play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of experiments and preserving samples by promptly detecting leaks.
