The PS200 is a rugged, easy to use portable multi-gas detector ideal for use in confined spaces and hotworks. Both lightweight and durable the instrument monitors and displays up to four hazardous gas conditions simultaneously using catalytic bead sensor technology for a wide range of combustible gases, and electrochemical sensors for carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and oxygen deficiency. Operator interface and calibration are intuitive and easy by toggling between simple one-button functions. During hazardous conditions users are alerted via three alarm functions: vibration, red flashing LEDs, and audible buzzer. To ensure the highest level of personal safety, the PS200 is also fitted with an optional man down/motion sensor that activates alarms if the instrument is not moved at a pre-set time. S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The RKI S2 Sensors and Transmitters use state of the art sensor technology to detect common gas hazards. Explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The explosion proof sensors use a variety of detection mechanisms including catalytic for LEL and LEL- H2 specific; metal oxide semiconductor for hydrogen; galvanic cell technology for oxygen; electrochemical for hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide; and infrared for carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrocarbons. A hydrogen specific sensor transmitter is not available. Each of these detection methods come with their own measuring range specifications and response times varying from 20 seconds to 45 seconds. These sensors are stainless steel and are housed in a cast aluminum explosion proof J-Box (a stainless steel J-Box is also available).

Non-explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The non-explosion proof sensors use galvanic cells for oxygen detection; electrochemical technology for hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, and other toxics; and infrared technology for carbon dioxide detection. The response times vary between 20 seconds and 60 seconds depending on the targeted gas, and the measuring ranges vary as well. These sensors are plastic or aluminum and housed in an explosion proof J-Box.

Accessories

The S2 Sensor/Transmitter has numerous accessories available to meet the individual workplace's needs. Such accessories include calibration adaptors, flow through adaptors, remote horns and lights, calibration kits, battery backups, splash guards, air aspirator adaptors or panels, and data loggers.

Both lightweight and durable the instrument monitors and displays up to four hazardous gas conditions simultaneously using catalytic bead sensor technology for a wide range of combustible gases, and electrochemical sensors for carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and oxygen deficiency. Operator interface and calibration are intuitive and easy by toggling between simple one-button functions. During hazardous conditions users are alerted via three alarm functions: vibration, red flashing LEDs, and audible buzzer. To ensure the highest level of personal safety, the PS200 is also fitted with an optional man down/motion sensor that activates alarms if the instrument is not moved at a pre-set time. The instrument is also fitted with an optional built in remote sampling pump making it ideal for use in confined spaces. The PS200 features a screen backlight that can be manually switched on in poor lighting conditions. Additional features include: customized user identification code setup, calibration due date display, and standard data logging that can be downloaded to a docking station via USB connection to a computer. Also available is a auto bump and cal station, 5-way charger and PC data logging software.

Managing data, configurating and recordkeeping with IntelliDox

The IntelliDox docking station allows easy data transfer with automated actions to transfer test results, complete bump tests, set bump reminders, complete calibration, and modifying set points as well as managing firmware updates. The software also provides transfer of all data, including peak readings and alarms, using an Ethernet or USB connection.

Multiple detectors are no problem. The IntelliDox docks can be grouped in numbers up to five, each with its own LCD screen, pump, and keypad, while sharing power and calibration gas for increased efficiency.

Concise compliance monitoring with Device Configurator

Device Configurator is Windows-based software that allows you to configure alarms, view and transfer data, and to manage all firmware updates from your computer - leading to increased compliance across all sites.

Moving to the Cloud

Yet another option to consider is the use of the cloud-based subscription offered through the Honeywell SafetySuite Device Manager. This allows you to use the cloud to:

Any smartphone can be linked to the Honeywell BW™ Solo, and with the use of the Device Configurator app, the Honeywell BW™ Solo can be configured, set points established, firmware updated and many more actions.

This is all done using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), which also provides the option to see bump data and calibration results, including who did the last calibration, when it was done, and what the readings were. This data can be entered into a certificate and sent to those requiring the data.

Decease equipment needs by skipping the docking station.

By choosing the wireless connection through the smartphone app, there is no need to have docking stations. The same BLE is used to transfer data from the detector to the desktop software, making it a practical solution for fleet management.

Make safety monitoring effective.

Using the Safety Communicator app allows the safety manager to track data from detectors without needed to be docked. Once paired with the smartphone, the app sends the required readings to a Honeywell monitoring software system, which is then accessed by internet-connected devices. This allows for complete tracking of worker location and safety issues.

In any type of environment, the Honeywell BW™ Solo is designed for easy use. It can be controlled by a one-button system on the job or managed by the Honeywell SafetySuite Device Configurator software. In addition to configuring the detector, measurements on short-term exposure limits (STEL) and time-weighted average (TWA), along with peak gas detection readings, are all easy to access.

Visible compliance or out of compliance status

For easy visibility in any type of environment, the Honeywell BW™ Solo is equipped with the IntelliFlash™ system. This provides a blinking green light for compliance, meaning the detector is monitoring and has been bump tested.

Red flashing lights mean out of compliance. This may include a gas event, the requirement for calibration, or the need for a new battery. With both options available, you can choose the option best suited for the job.

Visual and Auditory Alarms

In addition to a loud, robust alarm, the detector also has LEDs around the detector that flash red during an alarm. The detector also vibrates, making it noticeable in any environment.
