The Ranger Wipe Test Plate by SE International

The stainless steel WipeTest Plate slides easily onto The Ranger positioning the depression and wipe directly in front of the GM tube window at a fixed distance of 1 centimeter. The WipeTest plate is removable for general surveying. (patent#5,936,246) Many customers using the Ranger Wipe Test Plate also use it as a Beta Shield for the 2-inch GM detector. (patent# 5,936,246).

The Wipe Test Plate is commonly used with Test Swipes to check surfaces contaminated with radioactivity. These convenient, easy-to-use cloth discs have individual record folders and can be used to perform wipe tests as indicated in NRC and Agreement State Regulations. Each box contains 500 record folders which can be used to identify each sample smear, prevent cross-contamination of smears, transfer smears to the counting facility, or store smears until discarded. Smears have slightly adhesive back for keeping your sample exactly where you need it to be.

The RADOS RAD-60 Personal Alarm Dosimeter is a precise and reliable instrument for ensuring the personal safety of the user. Ideally, the RAD-60 is used in everyday radiation monitoring, in stand-alone conditions. If your needs grow for a more sophisticated system, the versatile RAD-60 can also be integrated into an Access Control System. The RAD-60 can be switched into System Mode, for the purpose of tracking Personnel Dose records and generating compliance reports.

The design includes state-of-the-art technology with built in memory for retrieving dose, even during power-down. It eliminates outside interference from shock and RF. The RAD-60 is easily programmed by the user, has a digital display, and operates with a single AAA alkaline battery.

With the push of a button, you can turn the unit on/off, change the digital display to read dose or dose rate, select from several dose and dose rate alarm levels, turn the chirp functionon/off, reset the integrated dose, and perform battery tests. The large digital display gives instant dose or dose rate readings and the audible alarm is loud (>85dba)

The Radiation Alert® Area Monitor is one of the most user friendly, all inclusive, state of the art radiation area monitors available. The easy to use interface is an intelligent resistive touch screen display featuring a large five digit LED readout.

It comes with either an internal or external detector and free software for monitoring every Radiation Alert® Area Monitor on your network. Includes user selectable warning indicators for low and high radiation alarm levels, low battery, and detector failure. Setup email and text alerts to recieve alarms while on the go. All the settings are stored internally, even when power is disconnected. All units come with a Certificate of Conformance. NIST Source calibrations available upon request.

Sentry EC Personal Alarming Dosimeter and Rate Meter by SE International

The Radiation Alert® Sentry EC is a Personal Alarming Dosimeter / Ratemeter designed to ensure the safety of personnel that work in occupations with potential x-ray or gamma exposure.

The pocket sized unit has an energy compensated tube for a linear response to gamma and built in memory for recording data points for tracking accumulated exposure. The SentryCom Software option enables you to generate incident reconstruction for analysis. The software also permits you to easily set the vibrating and audio alert to your desired levels for dose and dose rate.

Use the audio switch to choose between audible clicks with each count recieved or a discreet silent mode.

The optional SentryCom Software enables you to easily integrate The Sentry into your radiation safety program by allowing you to select the thresholds for dose and dose rate alarms/warnings. You can set the Cal Factor, and the data logging frequency, and download the accumulated dose data as a text file. The report includes a delimited time and date stamp, exposure, and power cycle identifiers for easy recording and incident analysis in most spreadsheet programs. Units of measurement can be changed between mR/hr and ?Sv/hr to fit your application and reporting needs.
