The GD-K8A is an ideal solution for many toxic gas monitoring applications. The low profile design is only 1.5 inches thick and is easy to install. The hinged housing makes it easy to maintain. This transmitter can be installed with any RKI controller, or integrated to existing PLC or DCS system via 4-20mA output (24VDC two-wire, loop powered).

81-1168RK RP-6 In-Line Pump Assembly with Rubber Nipple Only for GX-94 use by RKI Instruments

The GX-2001 is the smallest 4-gas monitor in the world and now it is available with a compact battery operated sample-drawing pump that attaches in line for remote, portable monitoring. Together the model RP-6 sample drawing pump and the GX-2001 make a complete solution for confined space entry situations.

The RP-6 pump is housed in a rugged plastic case with quick connect fittings located on both ends of the unit. It is sold with either a 4 rubber nipple or with a 10' hose and probe. When buying the RP-6 with the 10' hose and probe, the probe is equipped with a dust filter and the 10' hose connects at the RP-6's quick connect inlet fitting. The inlet fitting of the RP-6 then connects to a removable clear plastic cup, which is a filter holder. This filter holder contains a dust and hydrophobic filter inside. The exhaust fitting of the RP-6, which is also a quick connect, connects to a coiled hose, which brings the sample to the GX-2001. The RP-6 will run for 5 hours from just 1 AA alkaline battery.

A rotating, ON/OFF switch is located near the inlet end of the RP-6. When the ON/OFF switch is on, the green power LED is illuminated. If a low flow condition occurs, the RP-6 will go into low flow alarm with a red flashing LED. For additional versatility, the RP-6 is also available for use with our model GX-94 portable gas monitor.

This model has two versions and is a combination type portable HC/O2 or CH4/O2 gas detector with an Infrared (NDIR) type sensor and galvanic cell type sensor. These sensors provide accurate detection of HC/O2 (HC version) or CH4/O2 (CH4 version) levels even in N2 and other inert environments. The measuring ranges are 0-100%LEL/0-100 vol% for HC or CH4 and 0-25 vol% for )2 respectively with automatic ranging. The RKI direct connect series gas sensors are highly reliable and very cost effective for the detection of common gas hazards. The direct connect series are available for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO for a variety of RKI's controllers. All sensors are explosion-proof with flame arrestors, and approved for use in hazardous locations.

The tri-sensor head can be used either indoors or outdoors. The flame arrestors for the explosion-proof versions utilize a patented coating which make them water repellent. Also, splash guards are available for use in very wet environments.

The unique tri-sensor design integrates 3 sensors into one explosion proof housing. This results in significant savings with installation and wiring cost versus traditional single sensor enclosures. Only one conduit needs to be run to the sensors.

The tri-sensor head is designed to exclusively interface with the RKI Beacon 410 controller. This 3 sensor head, used with the Beacon 410, is especially well suited for wastewater applications.

GD-K71D-O3-06 GD-K71D Smart Transmitter, Ozone (O3), 0 - 0.6 ppm by RKI Instruments

The GD-K71D is a complete sample drawing gas monitor, including digital readout and alarm relays. A new gas sensor technology using an intelligent sensor for remote location calibration and setup is used. The new GD-K71D sensors are designed to provide a longer time period between calibrations. Calibration intervals have been extended to12 months of on-line service which equates to reduced maintenance cost. In addition, the sensors can be calibrated away from the gas detector installation, for example in a service area or off site. This eliminates the inconvenience of having calibration gases in the fab or monitoring location. GD-K71D easily connects to an existing PLC system and is ideal for applications needing a local readout or where a relay control is needed. The automatic zero correction software provides excellent long term stability and minimizes false alarms due to zero drift.
