The GD-K8A is a diffusion style toxic gas detection transmitter ideally suited to meet your toxic gas detection needs. You can choose from a wide variety of toxic sensors to install in this model. The GD-K8A is an ideal solution for many toxic gas monitoring applications. The low profile design is only 1.5 inches thick and is easy to install. The hinged housing makes it easy to maintain. This transmitter can be installed with any RKI controller, or integrated to existing PLC or DCS system via 4-20mA output (24VDC two-wire, loop powered).

The sensors for the GD-K8A are aged and tested over a one to three month period, typically resulting in a three to five year life span, providing a lower cost of ownership for your gas detection system. The sensors are robust electrochemical type that feature higher sensitivity and selectivity. FP-270-TMAL Paper Tape Machine,Trimethyl Aluminum by RKI Instruments

The model FP-270 series are highly sensitive toxic gas monitors using a gas detection cassette tape which is almost free of interference from other gases. As the detection tape responds by a chemical reactionwith the gas being measured, there is no interference from hydrogen or organic gases. Its best applicaton then is in monitoring of the target gas at the outletof an absorption scrubber, as well as in monitoring of the work environment for personnel safety.

Octafluorocyclopentene(C5F8) and Perfluorobutadiene(C4F6) can be detected with built in spacial pyrolyzer.
