The FP-260 is a highly sensitive toxic gas monitor using a gas detection cassette tape which is almost free of interference from other gases

Since the detection tape responds only to the chemical reaction of the gas being measured, there is no interference from hydrogen or organic gases.

Its best application then is in monitoring of the target gas at the outlet of an absorption scrubber, as well as in monitoring of the work environment for personnel safety.

Since the cassette can be replaced so quickly and easily by a one touch cassette method, detection of multiple gases is practical.

The 35-3000RK series is a compact sample draw detector assembly with a built-in pump that accepts a 24VDC input. This unit features a NEMA 4X enclosure making it dust, water and corrosion resistant. It also features a flowmeter with adjustable flow and a low flow alarm which warns of any obstructions or restrictions in the flow system. Combustibles, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide versions are available with or without a 4-20 mA transmitter. The 35-3000RK is also available with both LEL and oxygen sensors in one unit.

Explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The explosion proof sensors use a variety of detection mechanisms including catalytic for LEL and LEL- H2 specific; metal oxide semiconductor for hydrogen; galvanic cell technology for oxygen; electrochemical for hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide; and infrared for carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrocarbons. A hydrogen specific sensor transmitter is not available. Each of these detection methods come with their own measuring range specifications and response times varying from 20 seconds to 45 seconds. These sensors are stainless steel and are housed in a cast aluminum explosion proof J-Box (a stainless steel J-Box is also available).

Non-explosion proof S2 Sensor/Transmitter

The non-explosion proof sensors use galvanic cells for oxygen detection; electrochemical technology for hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, and other toxics; and infrared technology for carbon dioxide detection. The response times vary between 20 seconds and 60 seconds depending on the targeted gas, and the measuring ranges vary as well. These sensors are plastic or aluminum and housed in an explosion proof J-Box.

The S2 Sensor/Transmitter has numerous accessories available to meet the individual workplace's needs. Built around high-quality micro-sensor technology, the GX-2003 is RKI's smallest personal 5-in-1 gas monitor with a built in sample pump. Weighing only 11 ounces, it has many features which set the GX-2003 apart from the competition. For example, it can monitor the standard confined space gases (LEL combustibles, Oxygen content, Carbon Monoxide, and Hydrogen Sulfide), and it can also measure 100% volume Methane and dynamically display either % LEL, or % volume with its auto-ranging ability.

The GX-2003's large LCD display shows all gas readings, battery level, current time, and will automatically backlight in alarm conditions. This unit also has a special bar hole mode to facilitate locating underground gas leaks. A high sensitivity leak check mode is also included, and provides ppm level detection of gas leaks. A special variable frequency alarm helps to pinpoint the leak without looking at the instrument display. Other standard mode alarm types include vibration, visual, and audible alarms that can be set to latching or non-latching. Controlled by a microprocessor, the GX-2003 continuously checks itself for sensor connections, low battery, circuit trouble, low flow, and calibration errors.
