The model SD-805 series Smart Transmitter/detector heads are state of the art instruments housed in a flameproof enclosure.

A simple magnetic control key is placed over clear marked positions on the surface plate to test and adjust the instrumentwithout opening the transmitter/detector head.

Two different detection princples are provided with SD-805 series which enables you to select the most suitable principle according to your detection gas, range and application for use. Especially the model SD-805RI can detect combustible gases (CH4 and i-C4H10) with 0-100% volume F.S. in inert gas base.

Dual alarm contacts and trouble alarm contact are provided for activation of external buzzer or alarm light. Powered by 24 VDC, the unit has a 4-20mA output for communication to outside controllers, for external readouts or alarming devices.

For industrial gas detection, the 8 Channel Wall Mount Controller Beacon 800 Model is a simplified gas detection system. The unit is easy to operate and maintain, and a wall mounting kit is included with every purchase. For easy operation, the Beacon 800 has a bright backlit display that provides simultaneous readouts of all 8 channels. The wall unit is cased in a NEMA 4X rated enclosure that is weather tight and resistant of environmental hazards.

For ease of use, the alarm system may be reset through an external reset switch, and the unit features bottom mounted wiring hubs for easy access to wiring. It is also compatible with a variety of accessories that are easily wired directly to the unit, eliminating the need for costly external relays. The Beacon 800 is also compatible with the widest variety of gas detection sensors available by RKI Instruments. With a user oriented design, the Beacon 800 8 Channel Wall Mount Controller is cost effective and versatile for almost any industrial applications.
