Bacharach's new state-of-the-art GDX-350 transmitters, with Smart Sensor technology, provide accurate and continuous detection of toxic, combustible and asphyxiate gases. The full-featured design of the GDX-350 includes a large LCD display, a 4-20 mA interface, programmable alarms, optional relays and a Modbus interface. Exclusive pre-calibrated replacement sensor technology makes occasional maintenance practically effortless. Rugged construction, intrinsic safety capability (in two-wire mode with barrier) and an explosion-proof housing allow the GDX-350 to operate directly in hazardous-rated areas of many industrial environments, delivering reliable, superior-sensing performance to protect human life, equipment and property.

With its large LCD display, the GDX-350 shows gas concentrations, engineering units and bar graphs along with the most recent 30 minutes of trend data. Utilizing the on-board magnetic keypad, users can also navigate through the display to change alarm set points, instrument configurations, or enter into maintenance mode for non-intrusive sensor calibration. For security, menu options also enable the selection of an authorization code to lock critical parameters. Accompanying the LCD display are standard LED alarm indicators that show when low and high alarm conditions are met. An optional relay board is available to provide three 5-amp relays that can be used to drive audible/visual alarms, or activate exhaust fans.

The IAM-100 Gas Monitor from Bacharach offers exceptional continuos monitoring performance and flexibility at an economical price. By itself, or integrated into a comprehensive detection system, the IAM-100 is a scalable solution for detecting a variety of refrigerants, combustible gases and VOC gas leaks at the lowest possible cost.

Onboard LEDs illuminate when the sensor is in an alarm state while the unit's audible alarm alerts personnel in the area that levels have exceeded the desired limit. The audible alarm can be muted with the onboard silence switch. Integrated dual relays enable the IAM-100 to shut-off refrigerant or propane supply lines while the second relay can be used as a connection to a building BMS or BAS system.

The IAM-100 is an alarm threshold device. When the range of the sensor is exceeded, the detector will go into alarm. For example, a unit with a 1,000 ppm R-410a sensor will activate its alarm when the detected refrigerant meets or exceeds 1,000 ppm.

Bacharach's MGS-350 Series Gas Transmitter is a feature-rich gas detection system with a wide range of sensor options to provide real-time monitoring of refrigerant, combustible, TVOC and toxic gases. Bacharach's all new GDC-350 full-featured fixed gas monitors provide superior operation - standalone or as part of a larger system utilizing the standard analog outputs. This state-of-the-art instrument can detect a wide range of gases including carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen (O2), combustible gases, refrigerants and total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs). The GDC-350 provides a unique two sensor interface, allowing for multiple gases to be detected with onboard or remote sensors. Bacharach's new MGS-250 Infrared Refrigerant Gas Transmitter is the leader in performance and flexibility at an economical price. There are two versions available - a cost-effective broadband sensor used for gross leak detection or gas-particular versions that are even more distinct, pre-calibrated and characterized for response to specific refrigerants. Its simple-to-use interface gives the user the ability to set all parameters and outputs without opening the unit, moving jumpers, using mulitmeters or adjusting potentiometers.

The MGS-250 family is a cost effective solution for detecting a variety of refrigerants without the limitations posed by solid-state sensor technologies. The long-life, proprietary NDIR infrared sensor allows for accurate low-level leak detection (0-3,500 ppm), delivering up to 5-7 years of maintenance-free operation without the need for costly annual gas calibrations. Infrared sensing technology makes the MGS-250 immune to cross sensitivities to combustible and toxic gas as well as changes in temperature and humidity.
