The VOC Pro Series Gas Detector is a versatile assembly that uses a PID sensor to detect a variety of gases. Wired power (12 to 35 VDC) with 4-20 mA analog and RS-485 Modbus outputs are standard. Magnetic switches allow for non-intrusive calibration while in the field as well as full system settings and diagnostics.

Designed to connect seamlessly to the Draeger FPS® 7000 full-face masks, this proven communication unit ensures clear communication through either a tactical voice amplifier or a radio – even in extreme conditions.

Only your voice is heard

The Draeger FPS-COM 5000 allows you to communicate without interference, even in the noisiest environments. Digital noise-reduction technology eliminates breathing sounds, ambient noise, and acoustic feedback for crystal-clear communication. In addition, the earpiece fits closely to the ear using has a flexible gooseneck that easily adapts to different head sizes and shapes.

Dual side speakers for amplified sound toward the listener

Two speakers mounted on the sides of the Draeger FPS-COM 5000 point in the direction the wearer faces for more effective communication. Speakers are flush mounted to reduce snag hazard and improve balance.

Access to different communication radios

You can use the attached jack to connect the FPS-COM 5000 to more than 350 different radio sets via the external Draeger C-C440 push-to-talk button or the Draeger C-C550 remote speaker microphone. Or you can connect the FPS-COM 5000 directly to the radio and use the built-in push-to-talk button. The communication unit also offers Bluetooth connection to selected radios, including Motorola APX™.

High reliability, low costs

Forgot to turn off the FPS-COM 5000 after a shift? No problem. After a pre-alarm, the communication unit shuts off automatically if no breathing sounds are detected after ten minutes. This increases the battery life, lowers maintenance costs, and ensures that equipment is ready for use when it's needed.

Assembly without special tools

With Draeger's new click-lock system, the FPS-COM 5000 can be attached and removed in just a few steps. And because the FPS-COM 5000 is protected against ingress of water or humidity with an IP67 rating, there is no need to remove the unit for cleaning of the mask.
