The Draeger FPS-COM® 7000 in connection with the proven full-face mask Draeger FPS 7000 was developed especially for these applications. Each word is transmitted clearly and intelligibly to the members of the team.

Noise suppression for optimum voice quality

The newly developed digital noise reduction automatically suppresses ambient noises and only transmits your voice. In particular, breathing noise is filtered out preventing it from being transmitted to the voice amplifier or the radio. The integrated loudspeakers, with which you can interact directly with the injured people and team members without radio equipment, also have this function.

Wireless connection to the incident commander

Each Draeger FPS-COM 7000 has an integrated PTT button (push-to-talk) to operate a radio that can be connected as an option. You can communicate using a tactical radio by pressing just one button. The tactical radio can be connected with a cable or Bluetooth. The latter means that there are no cables that could become entangled; reducing the risk of snagging.

Hands-free team communication

The Draeger FPS-COM 7000 allows fast and efficient communication within one group or among different ones. And it works without pressing a single button. This improves your safety by not distracting you from your task. The voice-activated function also provides full-duplex communication. This means that you can talk and listen at the same time – as if you were on the phone.

If there is only one radio for the entire group, the system allows the automatic transfer of the received instructions for up to ten group members via short-range radio. This means that only one member of the group needs a tactical radio while everyone is still informed immediately.

Easy operation and individual setup options

The Draeger FPS-COM 7000 was developed with a focus on ergonomic handling and intuitive operation. The set radio group is announced via the earphones. In addition, different alarm tones warn of low battery status or if you are out of range from the team communication. An optional software allows numerous setting options with which you can adapt the system to your precise operation.

You can, for example, define the number of groups. With the integrated switch you can switch between up to seven groups during the mission.

Robust and balanced

The robust communication unit adapts seamlessly to the Draeger FPS 7000. The robust design of the Draeger FPS-COM 7000 can resist even strong shocks and impacts. It is resistant to extreme temperatures and has protection class IP67. This means the Draeger FPS-COM 7000 is waterproof and can be easily cleaned after the operation. In addition, the balanced weight distribution prevents neck muscles from straining and increases wearing comfort – without restricting movement or limiting your field of view.

Flexibility before, during and after the mission

Thanks to its click connection that is easy to operate, the Draeger FPS-COM 7000 can be attached and removed in only a few steps – within seconds and without special tools. This allows greater flexibility to interchange between different face masks which can quickly be ready to operate by simply removing the protective cap.

The Fire Sentry FS7 fire detector provides and intelligent two-stage response to semiconductor wet bench fires:

Stage 1: Alert. This is the first-stage response to a small fire with a heat energy output of 3 kW (the equivalent of a 4-inch diameter polypropylene pool fire). This allows time for the fire to self-extinguish.

Stage 2: Alarm. If the fire does not self-extinguish, and grows to the Factory Mutual specified heat energy threshold of 13 kW (the equivalent of an 8-inch diameter polypropylene pool fire), the second-stage response is activated.

The Fire Sentry FS7-2173 is used with Fire Sentry FS7-130-SX Controller or Control Panel FSWB. Controller and Control Panel supply power to detectors monitor the status of all detectors and communicate with the detectors via the digital RS-485 communication channel. Fire Sentry FS7-2173 is supplied with a standard 20 ft. cable connector. Detectors are connected to the controller or control panel using the self-locking connectors and Fire Sentry junction boxes. The MX6 iBrid® is more than an intelligent hybrid of Industrial Scientific's best monitoring technologies—it's the most adaptable six-gas monitor on the market. With hundreds of possible sensor combinations, and a robust list of available configuration settings, the MX6 iBrid is ready to monitor oxygen, toxic and combustible gas, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

As your work changes, so can your MX6 iBrid. It uses five sensor slots to detect up to six gases. Each of those sensor slots accepts a variety of sensors, which means you can use the instrument with a PID sensor one day and an infrared sensor the next. What's more, settings allow you to adapt the instrument's behavior for your application. If you need to use a benzene PID response factor for one application, and butadiene for others, the familiar menu structure will allow you to quickly change settings.

The rugged MX6 iBrid carries our Guaranteed for Life™ warranty and is compatible with DSX™ Docking Stations. With a DSX Docking Station, maintenance is simplified and data becomes more than a spreadsheet filled with logged readings.
